Question: Placement...? So I have always wanted a Tattoo, and I have my eyeliner tattooed on. But now I want a real one...A four leaf clover and maybe some Plumeria flowers. Answer: You should ask yourself whether or not you want to be able to see your tattoo. Personally, I like the top of the foot because you can actually look at it, and admire your artist's work. However, the back of the neck is more private and personal, so I guess it just depends on what you're going for. Try putting a temporary tattoo on both locations and see where you like it better. good luck!

Answer: I only ever got one job through an agency. My current engineering gig in LA was through www.monster.com. Or www.monster.ca in Canada. You do know that if you are a Canadian citizen and have an engineering degree you can also work in the USA with a "TN Visa". And these visas have no quota and are super easy to get. Just to a Yahoo search on "TN Visa". I am a Canadian engineer working since 2001 in LA on my dream engineering job.

Answer: It is absolutely true!! As one goes from left to right and one goes from bottom to top, you find trends within the periodic table. An example is electronegativity. A molecule like Cesium or Rubidium gives up valence electrons quite readily so it would have a low electronegativity, while fluorine hangs on very tightly to electrons. You also have similarities in the columns; for example the elements in the far right column (He, Ne, etc.) are not very reactive because they have complete outer shells, while the halogens (F, Cl, etc.) all readily react to accept electrons.

Answer: What do you mean he "barely knows" his new wife? Did he send for a mail-order bride or something? This makes no sense. Unless you can produce a custody decree stating that you are entitled to a greater percentage of custody, then he is his choice to have his children under the care of his new wife. All the military cares about is that the children will be cared for by a legally appropriate person. It is up to the courts to determine who is legally appropriate...not the military.

From your posting, you do not sound like you are a new student in the fall if you already know what class you will have on this coming Wednesday. Did you take a math placement test when you were a new student? Which grade if you don't mind? Are you from NYC originally, because I don't know if different placement tests will be given to New Yorkers versus those new to New York? Answer: There is a math placement test to see if you will be in geometry enriched or regular geometry. Also a shorter "fun test" for math team. Anyway, the math placement isn't really too important because its only for 1st term of Freshmen year. There's an honors math test in December which will determine if you are in honors math courses for the rest of your time in stuy. As for other tests, there is a swim test to see if you need to take swim gym. There's also a language test if you've taken a language in middle school and want to be placed in a higher level. Other than that, i don't think there are any more placement tests. Subsequent class placements will be based on class grades.

Answer: Double bonds make that bond unable to rotate and "stiffens" the molecule. If the double bond is on either bridge bond, the molecule will be very unstable. Basically, the further the double bond is from the bridge, the more stable the molecule will be, assuming it's a simple hydrocarbon. Also, don't forget to factor in steric hindrance from the hydrogen atoms if necessary.

Question: What is the proper placement for a drawsheet for a person who needs assistance turning? The CNA who comes to our house daily consistently puts the drawsheet either at the patient's hips, or mid-back. I am having difficulty turning the patient and think probably the drawsheet should be higher on the back, so as to distribute the leaverage across the whole torso....and I think it would be easier on the patient, too, rather than having a tight pull on lower back. I think it would be gentler if placed higher. however, I don't want to be a know-it-all, since in fact I was not trained in this...and the CNA supposedly was???? I have mentioned before about the placement, and at least got her to come up higher than the hips, but I don't want to nag about bringing it even higher if I am wrong in my thinking.

Answer: A draw sheet is placed between the armpits and hips. It should be smooth and of sufficient strength to support the patient as they are rolled or lifted with the sheet. You don't have to criticize the CNA, you can just say "Hey i would like to try placing that draw sheet a little higher up on "mom". I think it would work a little easier for us when you aren't here. Answer: There's no need to be concerned. COMPASS college placement tests help educators evaluate incoming students in reading, writing, math, and ESL skills for placement decisions. If your skill level isn't up to par in a certain subject you'll need to complete the appropriate developmental course in order to attain that level. There's a good reason for that, if your math skills are rusty or if you have a problem with reading comprehension you will find yourself having to work a lot harder than your classmates in the same course. You will be doing yourself a big favor in the long run by bringing your basic skills up to standards. You'll find that a number of these developmental courses will be "prereqs" for other courses in your program of study. Question: How do I stop controlling pitch and placement with my throat when I sing? I'm a 2nd year classical voice student and I've realised that I use my throat to control my pitch and placement. Whenever I try relaxing my throat, the sound moves back and doesn't project, and if I place the sound towards the front of my mouth my throat tenses. My support is fairly good, is there anything I can do to take the pressure off my throat??

Answer: have you and your teacher worked with relaxing your jaw? tongue positioning? soft palate? vowel shaping/tracking? this balancing act of open throat at the same time as forward placement is one of the hardest ones to accomplish. It might help you to orient your sensation of sound at the alvelar ridge, just behind your upper front teeth. The hard palate "notices" vibrations rather easily, and if you locate your vowels in the same place where you speak "d" "t" "l" "n" and rolled "r" consonants, you will pick up on these vibrations. Don't fix them there ( you know by now that nothing is ever ever ever fixed for any length of time) but allow them to make their presence known as the sound continues on its way out. If you haven't been assigned any reading, I will strongly recommend a couple of books that really ought to be in your university music library. "Diagnosis and Correction of Vocal Faults" by Dr. James McKinney sounds daunting, doesn't it? Well, it's a delightful read, lots of jokes and humor to soften that title. "The Structure of Singing" by Mr. Richard Miller. Elegant prose, detailed research, exercises to beat all ( what, am I a fan?) and of course, The volume that every singe rought to have read "Singing: the Mechanism and the technique" by Dr. William Vennard. I have one of these with me when we are on the bus to somewhere else, and I never get bored with them.

Answer: Jeans, if other employees wear them (at a preschool they usually do) or slacks, with a polo shirt (nice looking, but not too tight or short) would work just fine. Wear something that you don't mind getting juice or throw-up on, and that you can comfortably pick up a child in. Polo shirts are ideal, but you may have something else suitable.
