Wether he does pay or not, your child will know the truth
Men that don't do the right thing often end up by themselves in little rooms
Question: How much maintenance does a swimming pool take? I want to get a swimming pool. My husband says "absolutely NO" cause they are too much maintenance. How much maintenance does an above ground pool need? What about the big blow up ones?
Answer: My mom has one that I let my kids swim in all the time and about every week you should clean it out with one of those net things and always make sure that you put the clorine thing in or else the pool turns green but otherwise it dosn't seem that hard does it?
Question: How much would maintenance cost on a 2003 mitsubishi lancer oz rally?
I have to do a budget analysis for my math class and it is asking me how much would maintenance be for a year on your transportation. I am planning on buying a used 2003 mitsubishi lancer oz rally in the future so on average, how much would maintenance cost?
Answer: Are you going to do the maintenance yourself or by the mitsu dealer? It's a lot cheaper to DIY than by the dealer. It depends on how often you use the car. A maintenance is required when a specific mileage is reached. So, go to any Mitsubishi dealer's service dept. and check out the maintenance cost for each specific mileage.
Answer: The Lancer requires Spark Plug replacement every 15,000 miles, an Oil Change every 3,500 miles, a Coolant Flush and Transmission Fluid Flush at 30,000 mile intervals and a Timing Belt at 60,000 miles. Figure out how much those services cost locally and add er' up.
Question: Is there a difference in maintenance between the standard Mini Cooper and the Supercharged? I have been wanting a mini cooper (convertible) for awhile, but it may still be awhile before I actually get one. I'm not as much interested in the stat difference between the two, but moreso the required maintenance. I've heard that supercharged cars require more maintenance or cost more for maintenance or something. Is this true? I'm not trying to decide which one to get, I'm just trying to decide if I should care, really. I'm planning to buy used.
Answer: There's no difference in the maintenance. Same oil changes, filter changes and such.
You'll have an absolute blast!

Question: How much to maintenance a steam boiler and change it to digital thermostat? I need to bleed my system from dirty water and oil build up. Also, change the thermastat to a digital thermostat. I got quoted $240 + tax to do the work. They are including in the quote adding a cleaner to system and informational tips on how to maintenance the system in the future. Only weird thing, is he is quoting this price over the phone before he even comes in to look at the type of system and work assessment. Is that normal for this kind of maintenance? Is this a fair quote?
Answer: A plain jane digital thermostat costs 40 dollars. A programmable stat can cost up to 100 dollars and up. If you have an oil fired steam boiler, that is a very good deal. If it's gas, then that number is right in the ballpark. Steam heat is alot different than ordinary radiant heat. Companies pay top dollar for qualified techs that can service steam boilers because they are so scarce. If the company you are hiring to service your heater is reputable, then I would go with them. You may find a contractor to do it for less, but either way, you're looking at paying a solid $200. My best suggestion, don't go with the big name company. They will charge the most. Ask around, see who else has steam heat, and see who they use. The "little guy" will often give you more bang for less buck.
Question: Who can I contact to do maintenance on foreclosed properties in southeastern michigan? Who can I contact to do maintenance on foreclosed properties in southeastern michigan?
I own a lawn maintenance and home maintenance (inside and outside) and would want to work on these homes to maintain for the lender, realtor, bank etc.
But I am unable to finds out who to contact, does anyone have and leads that I can geta hold of?
Answer: This can be complex. In many cases, the lender hires a loss mitigation company to handle their foreclosures. This can be subbed out to yet another company. From my friends that work in foreclosures, there can be about 5 companies involved in financial decisions on these properties.
Your best bet is market yourself to Realtors who will ultimately list these properties. Most have weekly meetings, ask if you can make a short presentation at a meeting. Or get some inexpensive flyers printed up with pricing or information about services you offer and drop a few at every RE office in your area.

Question: What can maintenance procedures are immediately done when a bird is ingested in an Airbus 319 engine? Hello! I am presently research on the maintenance procedures done if a bird damages three or more blades inside the turbofan of an Airbus 319. It's similar to an accident that happened in our country, fortunately, the plane landed safely. Anyway, can anyone provide insights on what is to be done to repair the "broken" blades? What good references can be used for the procedures done? Will NDT be involved? Thanks!
Answer: The 319 has CFM56 engines hanging on it, but the basics pretty much apply to all jet engines. FIrst, what is the flight crew write-up pertaining to the strike? If the engine didn't have unusual vibrations, didn't have a compressor stall, and the EGT (exhaust gas temp) were all normal, they probably would only have to do a visual inspection of the fan and core engine/splitter area (area separating the bypass air from the core air). An exhaust inspection would also be performed. They may be required to borescope (internal view of some compressor stages performed through some borescope ports in the compressor case using a fiberoptic view of the internals) Examine the VBV's (variable bleed valves) looking for damage or evidence of birds. If all looks, good, perform an engine power/acceleration run and return the engine to service. If any damage is found along the way, the fan blades could be replaced, as necessary, or if internal damage is found to any compressor rotor or stator blades, they could possibly get continue in service authorization with repetitive borescopes or worse case scenario, the engine would have to come off. The procedures are pretty much the same for all jet engines.

Question: Can you spot a high maintenance woman? How can you tell if a woman is high maintenance? Okay, do high maintenance women look different from other women? How can you tell?
Answer: Sometimes a high maintenance woman comes in the guise of "The Librarian Type". Often, she's a "diamond in the rough" who, with a little make-over action or just a little encouragement, would be a stone fox.
Other times her beauty is most apparent, but she’s a bit awkward, distant or shy.
The problem is that while "Ms. Librarian" is such a sweet & kind person, she usually has all kinds of social issues she needs to address.
Hooking up with her takes commitment to another level because of how "needy" she can be. Often, her insecurities take a toll on the relationship. These ladies tend to want A L L of your free time, because you were the one that "discovered" them. I could go on, but the Gentlemen who read this should know exactly what I’m talking about. I’d think most ladies do, also.
Question: In terms of maintenance, what are the major differences between a car with a gas engine and a diesel engine? I am in the market for a new car and am picking between the Jetta TDI (diesel that will be released later this year) and a normal gasoline-using Jetta. I understand the differences in power and torque between gas and diesel engines. However, I am unsure about the amount of maintenance that goes into owning a diesel. Can someone who has owned both a gasser and a diesel for long periods of time help me out?
Answer: Adding to the very good points already made.. The scheduled maintenance for a VW is not cheap.. similar to Honda's. However, even though the oil is more expensive (must be VW certified for your specific engine) your oil change intervals are greater.. so, it evens out. Don't even think about going somewhere like JiffyLube for oil changes.. I wouldn't even do that with a "gasser"!
As far as cold weather starting.. just toss in a few ounces of PowerService (white bottle) anti-gel additive to each fill-up during the colder months and you will never have starting issues. Trust me, it gets to -25 degrees here!
I really recommend driving both the TDI and the gasoline Jetta... I am pretty sure which you will choose after trying them out.. :)
Question: How do I begin a lawn maintenance business? The area in which I live is booming in new growth, I have three teen-age sons (14-16) and am planning to begin a lawn maintenance business beginning next year, employing all three to work it while I continue in my employment. I have a good truck, a couple of weed eaters, and tools for basic maintenance. What else should I plan to purchase, how much money to initiate this plan, and what will be my most successful path to begin?
Answer: First of all you need to check with your local city hall to determine weather or not you will need a permit. Then depending on what you need legally you might have to incorporate yourself which could be costly but will allow you to properly file the correct tax forms and to withold taxes to have a ligit business. This would allow you to have employees on a W2 status. YOu should check into that first b/c that could be costly. Once you've gotten that taken care of, you'll need to deal with liability insurance etc... You'll need the lawnmowers, weedwackers, good transportation and also if you are going to have your employees driving these trucks with this equipment in it, they may need a commercial drivers license...may want to check into that as well. It's gonna cost you to do it right. If you dont want to do it "right" then just through a sign on the side of your truck, the lawn mowing equipment in the back and pay them under the table!
Question: What kind of maintenance does a belt drive require? Getting a motorcycle w/ a belt drive (2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900)Just wondering what kind of maintenance these require.I currently have a shaft drive , which is easy to maintain.
Answer: Just keep it tensioned clean and it will last years with almost no maintenance. I have had belts on several Harleys, one Buell, and an old Kawasaki 440. None of them had any issues. They aren't as easy and trouble free as a shaft, but they are a million times easier and cleaner than a chain.
Question: Maintenance schedule for a new car - is it really what is needed? I just bought a new car in October and received a notice that my first scheduled maintenance is due. Are all these "scheduled maintenance" things really necessary for a new car, or is it just a way for the dealership to get more of my money?
Answer: Compare what the dealer sent, with what your owners manual recommends as dealers will pad services to make a few extra bucks. Some of the extra recommendations are OK and good to do but some are just fluff and BS. To keep your car in good condition you should do at least the recommended services in your owners manual at the correct mileage and time intervals and use the severe service schedule.
Question: Is it necessary to get the maintenance from a Lexus dealership? I'm thinking about getting a Lexus IS 250 but I heard the maintenance costs are really expensive. Can I just go anywhere to change the oil or any other maintenance? What are your suggestions?
Answer: if you know your way around a car..... by all means do it yourself, but if you dont then yes have the dealer do it. Cheaper to do it in a toyota dealership because lexus will rip you off big time with maintanance.
Question: What kind of maintenance should I get done on my car? I have had it for almost a year now, and I haven't done anything except get the oil changed. It's a 2005 Dodge and it used to be a rental car. I want it to last as long as possible, so what kind of preventative maintenance should I do to help it last?
Answer: well alot of it depends on the milage that the car is at..but here are some good things to keep in mind.. timing belt should be changed around 80 thou miles.. transmission service is usually around then to.... as well as radiator, you may want a tune up around a 100 thou...

Question: What kind of motorbike requires more maintenance a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke? What kind of motorbike requires more maintenance a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke? Also what kind of maintenance do they require?
Answer: I've owned both kinds and depends on what you call maintenance.
4 stroke requires regular servicing, including carbs and valves.
costing upwards of $250.00, (if not heaps more)
2 strokes require regular oil and plug changes, and two stroke top up.
once in a while, a carb balance. you don't have to rebuild, unless you thrash it mercilessly.
with 2 strokes generally running to twin cylinders and smaller capacities, regular running costs are very reasonable.
The costs of an occasional ring change and decoke, or even rebore pales against bi-yearly full services in most 4 strokes, and rebuilds of these bikes cost HEAPs!
in gp racing, costs skyrocketed when they went to 4 strokes.
Also, you dont have to rebuild road going motors, of either kind, after 10-30hrs, unless you are a complete tosser.
By the way I own a 4 stroke, but i do miss the ol' strokers.
