Question: stalking??????????????????????????????… so im stalking the guy i like and i think he saw me today when i followed him down town and im thinking about changing schools for a little, getting plastic surgery on my face so i look like a totally different person then making him love me. any suggestions? tips? i realize i shouldnt but i need him like air and if he doesnt love me after my first surgery ill do it again so i look prettier

Question: Stalking...? There's this guy (the one who I've been asking about recently) and supposively i'm "stalking" him. I didn't talk to him at all yesterday and I think maybe he's doing it so i'll talk to him. He makes me really mad. Like so mad I could kill him. Suppoisively he dislikes me completely and I dunno if it's the exact opposite or what. I really don't care. And supposively he didn't get jealous. I'm thinking about giving up all the drama crap I have to go through with him and leaving him behind period. What do you think I should do?

Answer: definetly leave him behind you want a guy that will at least openly want you back right? don't settle for less and stop chasing after him he might not like it goodluck

Answer: people have been known to stalk each other, but it's rare.

Question: How do you prevent trolls from stalking your questions? One of my pet peeves is when someone answers my current question by starting off by criticizing my previous question. Answer: You really can't. Trolls will always find a way to you, even if it involves staying in the category you most likely answer in and check every question to see if you have answered it, then reporting you. Best way to prevent troll attacks: ► Keep your Q&A (Network is optional) private. ► Don't allow fans. This can be turned off in 'edit my preferences'. ► Keep your contacts limited and only add those you trust, as they can see your Q&A as well -- even if you are keeping it private.

Question: What are some books with good description of stalking or robbing/murdering a person? I am trying to write a short story through a perspective of a person who is lurking in the dark waiting for someone either to kill them or to rob them. But I can't get the feel of this act or see how they will do this. I'm trying to read books with good descriptions for stalking or robbing. What are some books that you guys recommend?

Answer: From what I've heard robbers stalkers or murderers usually have a frontal lobe deficiency meaning the part of their brain thats responsible for proper emotional decisions (the conscience) is immature So it'd be really realistic if your characters thoughts were void of real emotion I mean disconnected from common societal values not only at the extreme level of murder and robbery but at the fundamental levels too. A really good book for this creepy emotional zombie character is The Stranger by Camus He tends to always be observing the life around him but never gets emotionally involved even in morally challenging situations

Question: What is this book about a dead babysitter stalking the kids she was watching? When I was younger, probably between 1990 and 1996, I read a book about these kids that have an old babysitter they hate and she ends up falling down the stairs or something and dying, but then she comes to life in the morgue and is stalking them for the rest of the night. It was actually kind of creepy for me back then and I cannot find it online now as I don't know the name of it. I know it was not a Goosebumps book. Any ideas?

Answer: could it have been a Lois Duncan or Christopher Pike book? I remember I read a lot of Lois Duncan books when I was younger and they were pretty twisted.

Question: How do you prove stalking and harassment on the job? When a co-worker who is doing the stalking/harassing has an intimate relationship with the right people? I am a black female in a predominately white male job. The harasser is a white female. It has been reported, but because of her promiscuity, my complaints get ignored. Answer: Very hard thing to do. If you have a representative from Affirmative Action at work, get her suggestions, but remember that AA is there to protect the business, not you personally. Human Resources shoud also be able to provide some assistance. Before you start there, though, talk to the supervisor. Often things end right there. Sounds like you have a workplace bully. Often the ones harassing women are women themselves. There are several, very good websites out there, and you should do some reading to understand how to manage the situation. Keep notes of everything, and bring the notepad home. Lock up whatever you can at work, and change the password on your computer If the situation gets too hard to handle with the comments they make, see if you can bring a CD player and pop headphones on your head. You do not want to be affected by the provocation. Good luck

Question: Is there any difference between stalking and following people? I was in the hall then I saw my crush & I automatically followed him. It's like there's something of me that pushed to him. Is that stalking or just following?

Answer: well when your just following him down the hall it isn't a big deal, in fact he might like it. but when you are following him around out of school like to his house or something like that, then i would consider it stalking. and following him around automatically is completely normal as long as its not bothering him.

Question: Need to do a presentation on stalking? How to make it fun and interactive? I need to do a presentation on stalking in college for my college class. We're allowed ten minutes, but I wanted to do something interactive and fun, like a game. But I have no good ideas on something that would be simple and fun to do and wouldn't be too time consuming? Answer: If you feel like you are being stalked, there are a number of things you can do to protect yourself: 1. Document EVERYTHING: If the stalker is sending you e-mails or text messages, or leaving messages on your voice mail, you might feel the urge to delete them and forget about them- don't. These are vital pieces of evidence if you choose to press charges against the stalker- he/she will be much easier to prosecute if they've left a paper trail that shows they stalked you. If the person keeps calling/texting, don't answer; the stalker will think that he's finally getting through to you. 2. Privatize yourself: If you have social networking pages, make sure you have them set to private (at least temporarily until things quiet down). If not, it is easy for a stalker to access personal details and photos of you. Also, on your voicemail, don't give your first name in your messages; if you can, consider having a male friend record your message. 3. Change up your routines: If you live alone, and you always get home from work/shopping/the gym at the same times everyday, consider readjusting your schedule. That way, anyone who's stalking you has a harder time finding where you are and following you. 4. Don't travel alone if possible- it makes you look like an easy target. That being said, if you start using a male friend or a bf too much like a crutch, the stalker who's fantasizing about you may think that he can get close to you if your male counterpart is out of the equation. 5. Question: How to get a guy to stop stalking me without getting police involved? I have had a guy in my grade stalking me for 2 years and I have told him on several occasions to stop. He still stares at me all the time and constantly asks my friends about me and has even said he loved me when I never even spoken a word to him. He also came up to me one time and started cursing at me when I was alone. I do not want to get police or my parents involved, I just want to get him to stop.

Answer: Find yourself a big guy friend to scare him off. If not, threaten him by telling him you'll call the police, without actually calling the police. If he persists, I would suggest calling the police...immediately. Don't give him a chance to hurt you.

I like to have my new cat in the room but whenever it's in my room it hops on my desk and stares into my hamsters cage. When I look at my hamster it's sitting still shaking. Answer: Cats hate water. So, keep a spray bottle close to you and watch your cat while it's in your room. Every time you cat goes on your desk, just spray it with water. It will soon learn to stay away.

Answer: He sounds like a predator. Notify your parents who in turn can discuss the situation with the police. Unless you have proof that he's stalking you, there's not much you can do. Talk to your parents.

Answer: Call the police and tell them what you know and what has happened so far. I assume you know what the stalker knows from phone calls or e-mails. Tell the police about them. Turn over any e-mail you may have. Show caller ID information. They will ask for anything that appears to be missing.

Answer: Its just the bid on the assets chosen by the company. Its to avoid low bids and its the one succeeding bidders have to beat. It doesnt matter though. The shares of the company will most likely be canceled and new shares issued when they emerge from bankruptcy.

Answer: obviously you are a child, and therefore are unaware of the dangers out there... they have a responsibiility to look after your well-being... if you are against that, then maybe you need to be more mature, and welcome their concern for your safety... what do you have to hide??? maybe that is what should be concerning them...

Answer: I'm sure you can sue them for stalking! Get some names and telephone numbers and certainly some addresses - so that you'll have something to show the attorney.
