Secret Marriage
A secret marriage is a marriage that is kept secret from family and friends. A secret marriage is usually a civil marriage, but there are clergy who will perform a secret marriage.
Question: Isn't the best way to preserve the sanctity of marriage is to get the state out of it altogether? No more state sanctioned relationships I say. If you wanna get married fine go to church and pay respects to your omniscient imaginary friend, but don't waste my tax dollars so your relationship can have some sort of state seal of approval.
Then there is no gay marriage issue because government will be out of the marriage business altogether.
What say you?
Answer: Yes - Separation of Church and State.
Government should not address marriage as it is a religious activity.

before you start know her better, talk to her it is always better before sex (May be it is first time for her too. (Joke). talk about her, praise her, then little by little make your move slowly but steadily.
before you get on the act, explore her like Columbus. foreplay is must for both of them to get satisfaction.
it is not first and last night.

Question: how to get Gazetted officer required at time of registartion of marriage in court ? I applied for marriage registration through online system.
they have asked to bring a gazetted officer at time of registration? now,how to get one officer to court, with a seal ?
Answer: In Delhi the Marriage Registration done by the Registrar of Marriages seek all the attached documents as proof of age, marriage , residence, photographs etc of both parties has to be attested by the Gazetted officer. The affidavit of both parties are attested by Public Notary.
The witness to the marriage registration has to be either a Gazetted officer or any person having PAN card.
The gazetted officer need not be made witness for marriage registration as this can be done by any person having PAN card, however the attestation job has to be done for documents by gazetted officer only.
Question: what's the easiest, fastest,n least expensive way to obtain copies of raised seal birth n marriage certs?
Answer: Go to this website:
http://www.vitalrec.com/#States
It provides links to the Office of Vital Statistics for every state in the US. Go to the state where the birth and marriage took place and you can order the forms.
I'm not sure if all the states are the same, but last year I had to order a new birth certificate for myself from WA state. I was able to order my birth certificate online. It cost $20 and I had my certified birth certificate in just under a week. You'll need to know some information in order to order (ie birth date, parents' names, county, etc).
You can also visit the Office of Vital Statistics for the state where the event occurred (should be in the Capital city), and I believe that in some cases they can give the record to you that day.
Not all places use the raised seal anymore, but they are still valid certified copies. The birth certificate that I got had a specially colored "Certified" stamp on it similar to the colored markings that you see on certain checks.
Question: Question for those against gay marriage being legal? I've heard alot of "pro traditional marriage" people argue that gay marriage being legal would mean that churches may be forced to marry same sex couples. Question for ya...
What makes you think that a gay couple would want to seal their love in a venue that promotes hatred toward them? Do you think of that, or is the fear mongering too big on the agenda to let that little nugget of logic creep in?
Answer: † Gabriel † - It was actually the christians who redefined marriage, before christianity took over the world gay people were allowed to get married and it was normal...
NO ON PROP H8!
Question: How many married couples lived together before marriage? For how long? Did any married couples live together beforehand? How long? At what time did you get engaged? Before or After? Do you think your relationship is any stronger because of your decision? Why did you wait? Or not?
If you aren't married, I totally respect that too, a piece of paper doesn't seal or secure anything, I'm just curious about those that did WANT marriage.
Smile- 2 years?!? Wow, I think we had our first fight that 1st week..Over to squeeze the toothpaste from the middle (me) or obsessively compulsively from the bottom (him) We got our own tubes after that....
Court- Of course I don't mind! I should have included couples living together, plans to marry, thank you :)
Answer: We lived together about a year and a half. I think it prepared us for marriage, a little. Although, we were married 2 years before we even had a disagreement. I think it can go either way.
Oh, we got engaged about 4 months after living together.
Question: anyone know of any marriage annulment attorney in Houston Texas? or anywhere in the USA.also a marriage annulment attorney who has the BBB seal on their website?just a legit attorney,
Answer: .If a marriage is consummated, then it is almost impossible to annul. Even Henry V111 had a problem with this and he was an absolute monarch.Divorce is much simpler
Question: Question for Mormons about sealing someone in eternal marriage? If a woman was raised by Mormon parents, but then married outside the Mormon religion. Then her husband dies first and she dies years later, and her family gives her a Mormon funeral what would be the rituals done after death. I know she would be baptized after death, but would she also be sealed in eternal marriage to someone other then her non-Mormon husband that she married on earth?
"rkd6" I take it that you are not a Mormon, because Mormons do baptize after death, and in a case such as this they would do so, because she had left the church therefore they would have to secure her eternal life. Furthermore Mormons do not seal Mormons to non-Mormons in eternal marriage. I guess my question should have been “do they seal women in eternal marriage after death the same way they seal men in eternal marriage after death?”
Answer: She would most likely be sealed to the husband that she was married to.
You are part way wrong and part way right when you told the first answered that Mormons are not sealed to non Mormons in the temple. Almost everyone who is sealed in the temple after they die is a non Mormon. Most Mormons are sealed and baptized before they die. They would probably have someone be baptized for her husband and then they would have them sealed together in the temple. Then the husband and wife would have to choice to accept or reject the baptism.
I would assume that since she was raised by Mormon parents she was baptized when she was 8 years old.
Question: Latter-Day Saints, A Question About Marriage & Sealing? I've often wondered this after seeing some deaths and divorces in my ward... If you're married and sealed to someone, and they either pass from this earthly realm, or you two divorce and remain sealed, and you decide to re-marry, can you be sealed to the new spouse? If so, does that negate the original sealing? If you get sealed to both, how does that work in the spirit world?
Are these questions that Heavenly Father will just have to answer for us when the time comes?
And why does Y!A want to put this in Hockey? LOL!
Answer: If you are divorced and decide to remarry with someone who also is an active, temple going member, you can be sealed to the new spouse. You would, however, have to go through a process to have the old sealing cancelled. That process involves having the old spouse not object to the cancellation. There is a process involving an interview with your bishop or branch president to do this.
So, yes, you can be sealed to the new spouse.
For a deceased partner, this cancelling the old sealing is difficult, as the deceased cannot be contacted to agree with the cancellation of the old sealing. This would require First Presidency consideration. I do not think that these kinds of cancellations are done very often.
Question: what are papers needed in secret marriage without parents consent? hi im 17 turning 18, my loved one is 18, we're quite in a tight situation and he really like to marry me. god, its so frustrating, please help me. im currently out of country, but im coming home in march, can i get all the papers until i got home home?
Answer: I hope you know what you maybe getting yourself into by running off to get married. You are not thinking logically, you just want your freedom at any cost. Go to college and get a career, experience the campus life. You have plenty of time to get married, and if it is meant ti be, you both will have an education and careers which will really help your future marriage. Please weigh the pros and cons before you marry.
Question: can you keep a marriage secret? please forgo the moral lectures, i would just like to know if it is at all possible to get married and keep it from her parents. she is in college, being paid for by her parents, and i am in the military. her parents will claim her as a dependent on their taxes, is it possible to get married without them finding out?
as i said before my reasons are my own i dont want a lecture on how immature or immoral a secret marriage is.
Answer: Yes. I kept my first marriage a secret for more than a year. Nothing has to change from what you are doing now.
Make sure you remove any rings around the family.
Also, if her parents are claiming her as a dependent, and the government finds out she is married ? There might be legal ramifications for the parents, which will make them angry towards you (bad way to start a marriage).
Do not file taxes with her. I do not file taxes with my husband. It has a box that is checked for married but separate.
Also, on the tax form it asks for the social security number and the full name of your spouse (so if her parents are claiming her, that might cause a red flag).
If you are in the military, you get military allowance for housing and other benefits for being married ? So, what is up with that ?
Peace.

I had a secret marriage which means only the Judge and you know about the marriage. We have all the papers proving that we are married and I want to apply for my GC, can you tell me how long it takes to get an advance parole? I'm in Michigan and I'm planning to visit home in July. is it better for me to stay F1 and go home or it's better to change my status before I leave? I just have 3 Months before leaving.
Thank you
Answer: To change to status will take more than 3 months, so you can decide to stay here or leave and wait in your Country for a response... anyways it is up to you !!! but you are not going to have any problem :) consult a Lawyer anyways !
If you decide to stay and wait while you documents are in process even your visa F1 expire you will still in a good "status" while are you waiting for a respond !
Question: Would my parents be able to find out about my secret marriage from insurance companies? My fiance and i would like to get married at our local courthouse. im 18, but still on my parents insurance. if we were to get married would insurance companies and all that kinda stuff be notified, or need to be notified, even if i dont change my last name yet (which i dont have to do it immediately right?)? we kind of wanted to get married in secret and keep it on the down low for awhile and we are afraid my parents would somehow find out since im still covered on their insurance.
Answer: Marriage is considered a "major life event" by insurance companies. It will very much effect you insurance coverage. Most companies will drop you from your parents insurance due to a major life event - graduating college, getting married, etc. If you get married secretly and do not inform the insurance company, it is possible that your parents can get in trouble for insurance fraud down the line.
Question: What's the secret to a happy marriage between opposite personalities? I'm spontaneous and always exploring and my wife is tempered and constantly planning. Our marriage is fine but when our opposite characteristics butt heads it flares. What's the secret to finding common ground?
Answer: The "secret" is in you both...you each have the power to control your personal "extremes", those qualities that make you opposite. When you both feel as if too much tension is building, use a signal, a word, a phrase, anything to stop the racing extremes and go relax in the comfortable land of "common ground" for some much needed consideration...I think you might find that there are very few problems that can't afford such luxurious and reasonable accomodations.
Question: Can we get marriage license without social secret number? My fiancee doesn't have social secret number..We're planning to get married in church and they required bring in MARRIAGE LICENSE. Can we get Marriage license without social secret number?(I'm a permenent resident in US)
then where can we go, what is requirement to do?
Appreciated your precious input.
and I'm planning to get Citizenship.
What if we report marriage to city hall now, He'll be a "spouse with permenent residency"..but most people says if he is "spouse with citizen" ,will get "green card" more easilly. is it true?
then If we report marriage license(for spouse with permenent residency) to city hall now, after getting the citizenship can we correct his status to "spouse with citizen"?
shame on me..;;;
Can't fix "Question"
-SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER..
Thanks 4 correction.
Answer: Yes you can get married without the Social security number. When you go get your licence you just tell them he doesnt have one. Also he has to bring some sort of Id. Government ID. It doesnt have to be american it can be a passport from his old country. They will still give you the marriage licence. It takes a few days to receive it here in Texas so you better make sure you do it ahead of time okay but not to much ahead of time because you get 30 days to use it after its approved. So if you got one today you would have to be married by Oct6.
Question: What is the secret of your happy marriage...? I think every happy marriage has a secret that works for that couple...besides communication, respect, loyalty and all that...how do YOU mantain your marriage a healthy one? What do you do for your partner to make him happy and keep it happy?
Answer: Humor. That's the number 1 thing that has made it all so enjoyable, even when it wasn't so great or when we aren't happy with each other. My husband and I make each other laugh all the time. Sometimes it's stupid stuff, I may be fussing at him about something and he will act like he's completely paying attention and trying to understand and then will just start making crazy faces at me. Kind of hard not to laugh, even if I'm mad. Or he will treat me like a baby "come here, let me hug you and kiss you and make it all better" I give in.
Besides humor, we actually really like each other. I don't know another couple that can spend 24/7 together and not be at each others throats. We both have things we do separately, I go tan and work out and things like that, he has his own things, but we prefer to be together for things. We are usually very considerate of each others wants and needs, we both put the other first. And there is a very strong trust between us. My husband would Never question my words or actions when it comes to trust. Recently I had an issue with someone I worked for, and my husband was with me to resolve it and he said "I believe everything my wife said, she does not lie." and it was nice, just to be backed up. (I have to sue the guy I had the issue with, but still, my husband backed me up and tried to help resolve it the best he could). He wouldn't make any big decisions without me and my opinion means a lot to him.
Parenting together has been quite a great bonding experience.
And sex, lots and lots of awesome sex.
Question: Are there any valid reasons for keeping a marriage secret? If someone's ashamed to be married, then why do it,right?
Answer: I actualy know a couple who got married but they were different races & she was afraid to tell her parents. She finally told them & they didn't want anything to do with her. Sad, isn't it? You shouldn't be ashamed but sometimes I guess, people make you feel like that
Question: What's the secret to a lasting happy marriage, and do you have it? So what is the secret to a long lasting happy marriage, is it a rare thing to find these days?

Shared responsibility in everything - finances, household etc
Trust
GIve more than you get
Listen .. then talk or more important.. just LISTEN
Compliment the little things daily - everyone does something sweet or nice each day
Leave work at work - we spend 15 minutes discussing work day and that is it
Laugh and cry
Have fun and live like you are still a child
Relax.. no one is perfect . but don't settle for less than you feel in heart you deserve.. I do not mean that financially or status wise.. but at a personal level
Question: Is it okay to have a secret marriage and then get remarried? I was just contemplating on this thought today.
Would it be okay to be married in a city hall secretly and then years later have a wedding and get remarried?
Yes it is definitely to the same person. Its my boyfriend and me we have been together for 4 years but we like things personal but we don't want to inform our families yet.
Answer: 1) Its juvenile. Only young immature kids would hide such a things from their family-- whether they get along with their families or not.
2) Its also not possible. You cannot have a wedding when you are already married! And if you go to city hall... you will be married. Every bit as married as if you had a big to-do in a church with all the trimmings. Each marriage gets ONE license; they do not re-issue a new license when you decide to put on a fake wedding.
3) And, its lying. To your family and your friends.
Now grow up and start acting like an adult if you expect others to treat you like an adult.
Question: What is the secret of a good marriage? Does it exist? What makes a good wife? as an educated woman is the only way to succeed at marriage by being submissive?
Answer: Secrets of a great marriage:
1) Be each other's best friend....emotionally connect
2) Compromise
3) Communicate
4) Mutually Respect each other
5) Don't forget your manners just because your married
6) Have common interests and individual interests
7) Admire each other
8) ACCEPT each other....faults and all....never try to change one another
9) Maintain a great sense of humor
10) Never forget what brought you together in the first place
11) Communicate
12) Spiritually connect....soulfully connect.....which creates a great intimacy
13) Trust, believe in each other, and have faith in each other and your marriage
14) Stick to any issues that arise and never demean your spouse
15) Maintain a sense of independence and be yourself.....only change if you feel you need to....and never change your spouse....that is his/her job and realization
16) Be realistic in setting goals, building dreams, and living your life together
Just to name a few.......
And yes, I am a God fearing Christian woman who submits to my husband. But he also respects my independence and sense of self. He loves that I do not take a bunch of bunk and am willing to compromise.....and I always let him be the MAN and wear the pants......that is his job, not mine.
And I enjoy being the womanly woman God created in me.....that does not make me a mindless, robotic...stepford kind of wife......and my man loves that about me.
