Question: Poll: Is the White House stonewalling congressional investigation on the party crashers incident? Recently there was unwelcome guests at the White House dinner. A congressional investigation has been started. The White House has said it will not let advisers appear in front of the investigative committee. Is this "stonewalling" or is it a matter of executive privilege? A. Yes, The White House is Stonewalling B. No, The White House is protecting security interests C. Answer: No they are being smart. If the white house social secretary testifies before congress for something a stupid as the party crasher incident every week somebody in congress will be calling somebody from the white house to testify about something.

Question: Why is the current congress stonewalling legislation to allow more domestic oil production? Nancy Pelosi won't let legislation come up for a vote that would allow us to produce more oil and help lower the price of gasoline. Why won't she and the democrats let it come up for a vote?

Answer: because the current congress wants to blame the lack of action on a republican president and not having enough of a majority .. if they fix this now.. then in November the voting public wont' be riled up.

Question: Why is Obama stonewalling the courts on such a basic Presidential election requirement as proof of US birth? Obama is really sending up red rockets with all this.

Answer: Yes-No

Question: Isn't it odd that Republicans are being accused of stonewalling the stimulus? When the sad truth is that if 100% of Democrats were behind this bill it would pass easily? yes except filibuster isn't the issue. Moderate Democrats are not on board. The original bill didn't have enough votes to pass if put up for a vote!

Answer: Republicans stand with the people's voices. Yes. 63% of Americans opposed this bill. Democrats don't care about what people think. They wanted Republicans to vote for it, so when it fails miserably the blame wouldn't just be on them.

Question: Why is the prosecution and police stonewalling the Anthony defense team? ? What are they afraid of? Why wouldn’t they let the defense team do their own autopsy? In the interest of justice, isn’t it incumbent upon them to do so? It seems the prosecution fears it doesn’t have enough evidence to secure a conviction and is setting itself up for an overturn on appeal should they get one. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Answer: The judge denied the request for the defense to examine the remains because it had not been identified yet. Now that it is confirmed that it is her, the defense will be entitled to much more information and access. BTW, with the description of the remains indicating that many pieces were the size of pebbles, no autopsy would be possible. Unless there is an indication on the skull of cause of death, it will likely never be known.

Question: How do you get around stonewalling when challenging a government agency action (Fed)? My "default, triple penalty" on a student loan began over 20 years ago with a "lost check". No direct answer has ever been given to me, a U.S. Senator's office, or even the GAO. Is there a way to break the impasse. (I have documents save for the missing check since a lost payment leaves no paper trail).

Answer: I may only be 16, but I may be able to help you out. You can use the proof by stating the problem to a court. If you've lost a great deal of money on this, it could be reported as theft. Do what you will.

Question: Why did BushFraud start the 9/11 investigations only after four widows pressured him to stop the stonewalling? Remember the Jersey Girls? What was up with that?

Answer: Well they do have the documentary: 9/11 The Press For Truth. They waited over a year to have an investigation. An investigation that was deemed "independent" yet was run by people associated with Bush's cabinets. That and over 3/4 of the questions they had, were not answered. That's why many call for a truly INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION OF 9/11.

Question: Isn't the stonewalling tactic of the GOP apparent with Obama willing to compromise on healthcare reform bill? John Hart said Coburn views Obama's legislation as a government takeover and would not be able to support it even if it includes some of his proposals

Answer: I believe with all my heart everyone should not be denied health care The two parties have to get together to make this thing happen It seems the USA has money for the military but none for the citizens

Question: Are "Birthers" unintelligent voters of the GOP or simply stonewalling in racism? With the failed ending of former President Bush and the economy tanking; wouldn't it make sense for the GOP; McCain-Palin Campaign; and or some racist organization in America to provide proof that POTUS Obama wasn't a legitimate citizens of the USA? Why pretend that Obama citizenship is in question; if the evidence existed that could have been the "Coup d'etat" of United States Presidential Election?

Answer: "Birthers" are uninformed. They don't realize that any child who is born to a U.S. citizen is automatically a U.S. citizen regardless of the location in which that child was born. In other words, Obama's mother was a U.S. citizen, therefore he is a U.S. citizen from birth. The only way to prove that he MAY not be a citizen would be to get a dna sample from Obama and a dna sample from his mother's corpse, and compare them. If it should prove that she is not his real mother, then people must prove that he was not born in the U.S., and that neither of his biological parents was a citizen. Here's the relevant law: Nationals and citizens of United States at birth The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth: (snip) (g) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than five years, at least two of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years ....

Question: Is stonewalling a good political tactic? With the biased right wing media pushing the anti-immigrant agenda, Holder and Napolitano are playing it brilliantly. Obviously, they have read the bill but won't comment on it for legal reasons. Like that little school girl who told the President that her mom was illegal. Obama's sworn duty os now to break up that family and send her mom back to Mexico. If Obama claims he didn't know about the law, he shouldn't have to enforce it. Stonewalling is smart.

Answer: No, stonewalling is not a good political tactic. The citizen class has whole-heartedly rejected the agenda (such that it is) of Barack Obama. It began last November with statewide elections in New Jersey and Virginia, where gubernatorial candidates endorsed by Barack Obama both lost. It moved on to Massachusetts where Obama’s choice for U.S. Senate lost to Republican Scott Brown. And now, evidence of the rejection of Obama’s agenda has radiated from Utah, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. And we haven’t even seen yet how the President’s trashing of Arizona will impact elections yet to occur. The citizen class won’t be ignored much longer. o_O

Answer: Pelosi, Pelosi, and Pelosi she is just as culpable as any of them as far as "authorizing" what they are all calling "torture".

Question: If Republican Sarah Palin is for transparency in government, why is she stonewalling in Troopergate?

Answer: Availability of library books is another form of transparency. My old boss always used to say " Watch what they do - not what they say." It's a variation of the adages - "Actions speak louder than words" or "Practice what you preach" I don't see any integrity in Palin. And I don't think she sees the problem.

Answer: Eric Holder was informed about the threat from the General and by other sources--and the call to the Pentagon--under obama's watch was ignored--so he is trying to cover up how badly his AG dropped the ball. When has Obama done anything for the good of America's safety?

Answer: It's like with health care...the Republicans decide, oh yes we need reform, just not THIS reform, when they had 6 long years under Bush to do something about it. It's just feeling like the same old story again.

Answer: Yahoo has their engineer trying to get it fixed, but they ran into problems while upgrading the servers. They said they hope it won't take long. But it has already been long. Some said the search works in the New Mail.
