Three Year Rule
The "three year rule" applies to individuals who have reached the age of consent, but have not reached the age of majority. It is not a regulation in all locales.

Question: When does the three year rule take into effect after a speeding ticket? If I get a traffic ticket in June and my court date is in September. Does my insurance go up for three years from June or September?
Answer: Each state has different laws but the norm is after your court date or fine is paid again depending on your state. You can take a traffic school also in most states to have the point removed. You can take a class all online with TicketRelief.com if you'd rather do this from home and who has the best prices
Question: Can my unwed 21-year-old use the three-year rule to apply for US citizenship? My husband is a born US citizen.? If I apply for citizenship through the three-year rule, will including my son on the application automatically allow him to also become a citizen? Or does he have to wait for the full five years before he can apply for citizenship on his own?
Answer: A 21-year old cannot derive citizenship by the naturalization of his parent. There is no 3-year rule for sons and daughters, just for spouses of U.S. citizens. Your son can apply for naturalization once he has lived in the U.S. as a permanent resident for five years.
Question: How does the texas statutory rape "three year rule" work? i am 17 and my "boyfriend" is twenty three. in texas the legal consent age is 17. will we get in trouble?
im 17 and i like a quite older guy. in texas the legal consent age is 17. i turn 18 in april. if there is only two months... will we still be at risk for trouble?
Answer: Yes, you and he will both get in serious trouble. The fact that you put "boyfriend" in quotation marks shows that you understand the law perfectly well. He is considered both a rapist and a contributor to the delinquency of a minor. You are considered incorrigible if you defy your parents' wishes, and can be forcibly returned home or placed in a juvenile facility.

I forgot to mention that she's been a legal permanent resident for 10 years but continuity of resident was broken 4 years ago since she was out of US by reentry permit.
Answer: No, she isn't eligible for the three year rule, however as she's been a legal permanent resident for 10 years, she is eligible to apply now.
Question: wow! so the three year rule does not apply here? she said she filed but did not declare whatever......I read somewhere that if you file on the year that you owe the taxes and you do not declare whatever you owe you count down three years of allowable collection by the IRS. What is it with people.
You know I have never been arrested for anything, and I see no point in doing things to get me arrested.
I'm not starving or homeless (but that might "Change") and there seems to be a lot of government programs out there to help people so they don't have to steal and fight for things.
I think people like this should just be put away for life, because they don't seem to be able to handle civilian life anyway, just keep them out of society's way.

Question: Is there anything in the Bible that says women will rule the world? Question: All rule after complettion three years visa time.? I am working from 3 yrs on visa. Time period is over. I am not geting release for visa change. Tell me best options to change visa
Answer: You can extend your status with USCIS in the US if you have a new petition filed for you by your employer. otherwise, to get an actual visa that will allow you to exit and re-enter the US, you'll have to apply in Canada or back home. If you leave without a new visa, you won't be able to return until you get one. But you can't get a new visa while in the US. It isn't possible.
Question: shouldnt there be a rule of comeback player of the year? PEnnington won it twice in three years which means he is good one year than sucked than good again. I believe a person should be able to win it once.
Like if vick came back to the nfl and had like 17 passing touchodwns and 8 rushing that woudl eb a canidat
but if u cameback twice isnt that stupid
Answer: Thing is that his comeback THIS YEAR was with a different team. Otherwise I admit it is a bit close together, but I don't think it should be limited to once. Also what is with people hoping Vick will come back, thinking he will be able to be a QB, and that he will be any good. Anyway I think comeback player should mostly focus on a guy who was injured.
edit: Paul if that was the case then Vick wouldn't be eligible either. I wouldn't call getting arrested and going to jail "leaving the NFL by your own choice". Sure the REASON for his arrest was his choice, but I don't think he thought he would ever be caught.
