Support Enforcement Tracking System
Statewide computer system that manages all child support cases in the State of Ohio.
Question: child support: Anyone ever 'catch up' with the absent parent? How did your tactic work? Absent parent in my case is getting 'under-the-table jobs and moving around through different states. Child support enforcement can't catch up to him. What I have: a court order and a current location (not address) and a cell phone number (non-trackable). Police aren't cooperating, the system doesn't work without a tracking device, like a tax-paying job or car payment, credit cards, etc. I do have current communication and 1500 miles between. I send him pictures of his child. I'm low on finances to travel.
Answer: I don't know where you live but in Florida when there is a child support order that hasn't been paid, the offenders drivers license is suspended.
Even if it looks on paper like they don't have a job, their license is taken and they are then arrested if they are caught driving.
My neighbor married a man who was behind in his payments. There is an order that his wages be garnished for the max when he gets a job. He got a job with a friend of mine but he was so far behind that they suspend his license anyway and he got fired because the job required driving.
Find out the laws in the state your ex resides in. They may be able to help you more than the state you are living in.
Good Luck.
Question: my ex. years not paying child support. recently awarded permanantly disabllity but he works, what should i do? my ex. has never paid court order child support. he is a scam artist ,years ago somehow he was awarded partial disability, he was never disabled, since then to avoid child support the majority of his work has been off the books. about 8 months ago child support enforcement caught him working and I received about $800 so he said he was going to fix me, so somehow got around the system and 1month ago I received a letter from child support enforcement telling me that my case is closing because he is now permanently disabled. the history of his many jobs are construction, roofing, lawn maintenance, gas stations. etc. now I know for a fact that he is working I know the name , phone # and place of employment where he goes to work, and he is attending school to earn a diploma from a degree that a disable person can never do. I went to my local child support enforcement, and they told me that there is nothing that they can do, because he is permanently disabled and as long as he is working off the books they can not track him down. So is my case over?
In the future if my case is reopen all he would have to do is quit his job and it will be a dead end like always.
Is child support enforcement requared to make phone calls for work verification?
Child support enforcement told me to get a private investigator to record him working. If I had the money to hired a private investigator why would I go after a dead beat dad.
Answer: Disability income is reportable to child support. Have child support get a report of his disability income. You will get your child's portion of ot. And if he is collecting Social Security disability, then your child is entitled to benefits from the government. So file for them. But keep in mind that when your child receives benefits, this will be reportable under your income, so you may very well not qualify for child support once you begin collecting Social Security for your child.
Question: Is xenophobia on the rise in the United States? Gallup: Half Of Americans Want Reduced Legal Immigration
Well the illegal aliens in this country have once again struck. They have pissed off Americans so much that now half of Americans want legal immigration reduced according to a new Gallup poll. The numbers of Americans for reducing immigration climbed from 39% last year to the 50% of today. Even more telling is that only 14% want legal immigration increased.
You can thank a bunch of racists for this increase... the racists at La Raza, MALDEF, PRLDEF, SPLC, ADL etc etc... for they have pushed so hard against the American people that they have pissed them off. With the masses of illegal aliens in this country, most Americans are looking around and associating illegal immigration with legal immigration and they want it all reduced. Those waiting to come here legally can thank illegal aliens for ruining their chances. It's no wonder most legal immigrants, when they finally get here, are opposed to illegal immigration.
I know it is a complete surprise to you dear reader, but I am opposed to illegal immigration wholeheartedly. I am also opposed to legal immigration in the way it is being handled now. I believe my views are quite consistent with the majority of Americans. If they saw border security and interior enforcement working and the number of illegal aliens in this country reduced severely, I'm sure most would not be opposed to the current levels of legal immigration. If they saw businesses that hired illegal aliens prosecuted, most would not be opposed the current levels of legal immigration. However the way legal immigration is currently implemented is absolutely horrendous. It is not done in the best interests of the United States and it's citizens, but in the best interests of the immigrant and that is simply wrong and why you are seeing opposition increase.
Allowing immigrants in solely based on being a family member and allowing immigrants to have a baby on US soil and have it be dubbed a US Citizen is wrong. Immigrants should only be allowed into the United States if they have a skill that can be to the benefit of the United States and it's people. We don't need any more low skilled, low pay workers in this country. We have plenty of those and it is one of the reasons that those jobs have low wages, because of the oversupply of workers.
We need only skilled workers to be allowed into this country and only in industries that are truly facing a shortage of workers. Some industries are manufacturing shortages of workers in order to pay lower wages. These industries are gaming the system and we see it every year when the annual quota of H1-B visas are applied for and filled within days. Visas like the H1-B are only supposed to be for positions that were offered legitimately to people in this country and could not be filled. Many of these businesses play the game of making small ads somewhere one time in order to say "we tried looking for American workers" and then look for low wage workers through H1-B's from out of the country.
Americans want a system that tracks when an immigrant comes here and when they leave. As has been pointed out many times by those who are pro illegal alien and open borders, nearly half of those in the United States illegally today came here on a legal visa and then didn't leave. This pisses Americans off because laws are not being enforced. We need a way to ensure that people leave when their visa expire and that we don't have to hunt them down.
The longer the open borders people keep screeching for unlimited immigration, both legal and illegal, the more pushback they are going to see from the American people. The American people aren't stupid, they can see the impact it is having on their wages, their neighborhoods, their schools, their health care, the congestion, the prison population, the social services and their taxes. They've had enough with supporting those who come here and are not productive enough to even pay for all the services they need. They've had enough with supporting the families of those who are not contributing to the system. They've had enough with immigrants who come here and don't assimilate. And they've had enough with unscrupulous businesses that bypass them for greed in favor of a low wage immigrant.
I expect this number to go higher than 50% in the near future. I expect that as there is more talk in Congress about amnesty that the American people will speak louder. It is evident that the silent majority that is the middle class is waking up. They are attending rallies and speaking their thoughts at town hall meetings. They are calling their representatives and making their voices heard. They will not be afraid any longer to jump in and oppose amnesty and unfettered immigration that is affecting their daily life and their standard of living.
I am proud of these Americans. They aren't racists, they are citizens fighting for their way of life, the rule of law and the great

Answer: when "news" media and pundits are spreading fear, dis-information, spin and polarizing the citizens, xenophobia is going to raise it's ugly head!
Question: Is the 2010 Federal Budget any indicator that Obama supports illegals? not this year anyway---
On May 2, 2009, President Obama released his full budget providing all the details for the blueprint that Congress approved in the Budget Resolution. From an immigration standpoint, the President's 2010 budget is designed to "strengthen border security and immigration services, as well as efforts to improve the delivery of immigration enforcement by streamlining and modernizing immigration application processes."
Anyone looking for funds to support a pathway to citizenship for the country's existing undocumented immigrants should look elsewhere. There is also little more than a footnote in the Homeland Security budget about helping to make the process easier for current and future legal immigrants. The focus of the President's 2010 budget from an immigration perspective is strictly on security and enforcement.
Department of Homeland Security
Border security and immigration services is a key national security priority. The Homeland Security 2010 budget:
Funds $45 million for the expansion of an exit pilot at key land ports of entry and other border security priorities.
Funding of $368 million within existing Customs and Border Protection funds support 20,000 Border Patrol agents protecting nearly 6,000 miles of U.S. borders.
Provides over $1.4 billion for Immigration and Customs Enforcement programs to ensure that illegal aliens who commit crimes are expeditiously identified and removed from the United States.
Provides $110 million to continue expansion of E-Verify, an electronic employment eligibility verification system that helps U.S. employers comply with immigration law and ensure that American jobs are available to U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S.
Strengthens the delivery of immigration services by streamlining and modernizing immigration application processes.
Department of Justice
The President's 2010 budget for the Justice Department provides the enforcement, confinement and prosecutorial resources necessary to help ensure the Nation’s borders are secure.
The budget includes an additional $286 million for a comprehensive approach to enforcement along our borders that combines law enforcement and prosecutorial component efforts to investigate arrest, detain, and prosecute illegal immigrants and other criminals. The initiative also enhances the Department’s ability to track fugitives from justice and combat gunrunners and illegal drug traffickers.

Question: To all you Labour voters and haters who hate mass immigration? Would this text about immigration change your mind and keep Labour in as long as they change as well or would you go to the Tories! I for one should hope Labour keep the cap on immigration:
Labour knows that we all want strong borders and a fair deal. That is why Labour is continuing to deliver the biggest changes to our immigration, citizenship and border security system for decades. Our changes include:
•New electronic border controls will be counting people in and out of the country by 2010
•In 2008 we activated powers to automatically deport foreign national rule-breakers, and we will expand our detention estate to lift the number of people we remove from Britain.
•We will introduce legislation to reform the immigration system and set out a new agenda of earned citizenship where the rights and responsibilities of becoming a British citizen have to be earned. This will ensure that only those who share our values can earn the right to stay by clearly spelling out the rights and obligations of legal immigrants to Britain, as well as the requirements for earning British citizenship - including learning English, paying tax and obeying the law.
•The new Migration Impacts Fund, that comes from an extra levy on new migrants as they enter the country, will support local services like health, police, and schools manage short-term pressures of migration.
•Enforcing strict penalties against immigrants or their employers if they break the rules, including the establishment of new partnerships between local authorities and enforcement agencies to gather intelligence, disrupt illegal activity and track down illegal immigrants and failed asylum seekers.
Answer: As long as immigrants come in legal and stay legal I have no issue with them. The problems begin when they lose their legal status and refuse to leave.
This is when the underground economy thrives and this when nations suffer. There can be no tax collection from these people. They don't show up on the census so there is no way to see their impact on the country they are in.
We need to send a clear firm message to all immigrants. YOU ARE WELCOME but when your legal status runs out YOU WORE YOUR WELCOME OUT!
Question: What do you think of my idea for a new government? A lot of the government will get its support from the jail system.
My idea is for slavery to only be legal for those who defy the laws in the worst ways. Recycling will be enforced and the people who will manage the recycling processes will be the prisoners. The by products from the recycling will be contained and research will be done to find out how it can be recycled as well. The materials to be recycled will go towards help paying the taxes of the citizens under the government. The funds will go for waste management research rather than all of this senseless replay of unneeded warfare and weapons development. There will be super fertilizer made for to sell the farmers in giant heaps of land. Food, paper and other things that can help create a good fertilizer over time will be there. The plastics, metals and such once processed will be sold to companies. There will indeed be some taxes to pay and the same sort of health care that Canada has, so will this new government. This new government will have the people vote for each law individually by the means of the internet and networking. Pot will be legal, but drugs who cause more deaths will not be. Alcohol distributed must be purchased with a card similar to a credit card and only so much can each individual have. The legal drinking age will be 16, but moderation will be enforced. If you drop out of school, you will be a fugitive, unless you return before 2 years has passed. Secrets will not be kept from the civilians like in this government. All vehicles must be environmentally friendly. There will be "pot houses" like pubs for pot, you go here to mellow out you can only come here once every other day and the same card for alcohol must be used to keep track as well. Only someone who has pot for medicinal purposes can keep it at their home. Cigarettes will be outlawed unless all natural.
Guns will be banned, if you have any real balls, use a damned sword! Bows, arrows and high powered slingshots will be used in hunting. Satanism will be outlawed, all other religions are alright with me. Christmas and Easter will be celebrated on another day,
The day it was originally celebrated will now be called gift day and The spring gathering. The actual Christmas and Easter did not happen when they are claimed to have happened, it's a cover up and it disgusts me and many others. The power companies will be clean power providers, every house will have solar panel roofs and be hooked up in a group. Old people who are on life support will be let go from life support if they are suffering too much and papers must be filled out at a certain age to say if they would want otherwise. Population will be controlled. Marriage before reproduction will be enforced. If there is proof that an affair is going on between two people, the cheater or cheaters can be given a lawsuit and money will be taken from them, half given to the victim and the other half to the government. Rather than a president, there will be a king and queen, within the family the morals and values will be kept alive, if not, a revolt is inevitable, and so be it! There will be no rent for properties to be paid. The roads and such will be made from highly durable recycled material that can be repaired very easily with steam roller type machines. The law enforcements will be groups of bounty hunters who are not meant to kill their prey, but to hunt and capture, even if that means cutting their arms and legs off if they try to resist. Lie detectors will be present at all courts and a drug will be developed to counter those who have to ability to fool the lie detector. If you are going to court for speeding or something car related you can drive there if you have to and will be permitted a sort of special 2 day license for the trip, although, you must apply for it. This government will be neutral any only have trade with other counties and nothing else! The rights of free speech will be kept.
Gambling will be legal but many limits will be set. Prostitution will be outlawed. And there will be a limit to how many children each person can have before they are caught into a lottery for getting tubes tied or a vasectomy. There will be a limit to how much food can be bought based on pets and household. Vicious dogs will not be put to death, they will be put to work within the prison for extra guards. The payment for jobs will be to have a home to live and citizenship. A type of bonus credit will come to those who find a way to start a business. This will go into circulation and slowly change things a bit. The bonus credits can buy things that are desired rather than needed. Also this type of credit can be gotten other ways as well such as winning it as a prize or getting it in a trade. There will be three types of ways to get things, by limiting cards, bonus credits and trade. This does away with flaws based on poor moderation, makes it nearly impossible to be greedy and get everything easily at the same time. Thi
This was so long that they chose to cut my writing short. People's desire for a good conflict can be met through special events and the job choice as a bounty hunter. Murder is for losers, torture is for kings!
You don't seem to understand my views on population control. Yes I know what kills, and something must kill to keep the population down to a minimum. Sure, pot kills, but just imagine, a possible murderer on pot, too mellow to kill. If someone or something is to kill, I'd prefer it to not be man directly to do the job. As I said, I was cut off. The rest of the details were not put on.
As for lie detecting, there is always a chemical composition to be discovered and I do believe that there is one that can better a lie detector test, it's just not yet been discovered. As for the things relating to more crime, I have that handled. In order to appreciate the good in life, you need some bad in life to look at and compare. Without appreciation for what is good in life, you can not find happiness. As for the market, there would be stores from another country as well as family owned and government ones. As for having the land to make a government for, that is still in the early stages of how and where. If you have unmanned land, people will come.
Even if many of the rules are considerably unfair to some standards, there are still countries who have it worse and people would come right over in a heart beat. As for extra funds, and extra prisoners, let the other countries send the overflow of their prisoners.
Answer: With the exception of alcohol, and pot, and your willingness to accept and encourage free-market capitalism, it seems fairly good, especially from an environmental standpoint.
Question: Do you think if times where better, that there wouldn't be so much blame on the illegal immigrants? This is almost like repeated history. Do you think it's worst today because there are so many hate groups envolved in this spreading of blame?

Failing Environment, Tanking Economy? Blame the Immigrants!
When times get tough, some of us get tougher. Others play the blame game. As the economy becomes increasingly iffy, losing jobs and raising prices across the board, some individuals and organizations have started to target immigration as the source of all of our woes in the United States, claiming that immigrants are stealing jobs and using too many resources, straining the abilities of school districts, hospitals, transportation systems, law enforcement agencies and housing facilities to meet the needs of native inhabitants, let alone newcomers.
Anti-immigration groups have now gone so far as to run ads featuring a bulldozer tearing up pristine wilderness to make their point about overpopulation as a result of immigration.
The ads are running in publications like the New York Times, the Nation, the New Republic, the American Prospect, and Harper's, and are either funded or sponsored (or morally supported) by such groups as: the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR ); Numbers USA; Project USA; the Social Contract Press; the American Immigration Control Foundation; The California Coalition for Immigration Reform; the National Organization for European American Rights; the Stein Report; V-Dare; Voices of Citizens Together/American Patrol; Californians for Population Stabilization; and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Three of the organizations (FAIR, American Immigration Control Foundation and the Social Contract Press) have been identified as hate groups by the Southern Poverty Law Center , which was founded in 1971 as a civil rights legal advocacy firm and tracks such activity worldwide.
Daisy, again! you give us info, but no links...Hmmmm! Not so credible information, I want to beieve it, but how can we without a direct link.
Answer: Not with today's internet. These "keyboard warriors" love to spread those lies, false statistics and links to those racist groups mentioned in your article. I see it all the time on here.
Question: What do you think about people that blame illegals because of the Failing Environment? And why do they only blame Mexicans? Is it really just hate towards Mexicans?

Answer: Somebody is always the scapegoat. Now it is the illegals
Usually were the Jews
Hum, I have not seen the illegals entering in somebody's house, eating a sandwich and taking a nap, at least not usually. The argument does not fit
Question: Do you agree with this? One Reporter’s Opinion – Americans Fed Up With Stealth Amnesty? It is this reporter's opinion that the amnesty crowd won’t die easily.Led by Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, D-Nev., Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., and company, they've tried five times to shove comprehensive immigration reform through and each time the American people, in their infinite wisdom, have rebuked them. The defeat of the DREAM Act was a major setback. Then came California Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s attempt to add the AgJOBS bill to the Farm Bill and again they fell flat on their faces. Feinstein admitted that amnesty efforts lacked popular support and its proponents could not overcome the opposition. The recent Bank of America fiasco is further evidence that when the people speak, the amnesty crowd listens. Customers tore up their BoA credit cards when the bank decided to give credit cards to illegals. It cost Bank of America a 32-percent drop in business. The threat is not over. Feinstein plans to bring up AgJOBS amnesty as a stand-alone bill later this year. But the amnesty crowd may be getting the message. Eighty House Democrats and Republicans teamed up to propose a new immigration enforcement bill saying they reject the Reid-Kennedy attempt at amnesty. A large number of rank-and-file Democrats agree with most Republicans that the first step should be a get-tough approach to border security. This new approach includes going after businesses that hire illegals; improving information sharing among the IRS, Homeland Security, and Social Security to track illegals; and increasing the number of enforcement agents at the border. We the people are speaking up. The people are fed up with plans to merge the United States into a North American Union with Canada and Mexico which would destroy American sovereignty.
We are: Fed up with the refusal of the Federal government to secure our borders.
Fed up with armed Mexicans illegally crossing our borders and assaulting Americans.
Fed up when Americans like border agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean are sent to prison for defending us from drug-smuggling illegals.
Fed up with the millions of illegals in America costing taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars every year.
Fed up with a president who orders 160,000 young Americans into harm’s way, thousands of miles from home, yet refuses to secure America.
Fed up with politicians who refuse to enforce immigration laws and claim it is “impossible” to deport criminals who are here illegally
Fed up with illegals who take advantage of free medical services to dump their medical bills on our backs and push our hospitals into bankruptcy.
Fed up with federal, state, and local systems overrun by illegal aliens costing taxpayers billions each year.
Fed up with the fact that illegal aliens kill an average of 12 Americans every day.
Fed up with politicians who pamper illegals with driver’s licenses and free public services.
Americans are fed up with the Mexicanization of America! And finally, we are fed up with a president and members of Congress who consistently work on behalf of illegals and the state of Mexico and against the interests of the American people.
The American people are fed up, mad as he!!, and we are not going to take it anymore!

Wonder what the reaction would be if unemployed AMERICAN CITIZENS hung around Home Depot hoping to get picked up for a day job?
Would they be arrested for loitering? Would there be riots resulting from illegals outraged that someone is standing on their corner trying to get “their” jobs?
Answer: Amnesty is not the way to go. It will just keep them coming. Popping babies that they don't even want, thinking that this will keep them in the United States. Our government is a poor expample of one nation loving it's own citizens that put the shirt on their backs. They want to take our shirts and put them on illegal aliens backs, along with our medical and social security benefits. Let these losers do without and send their butts back where they came from. We can't expand the size of our continent to make room for all of them, their babies, let alone the dis-respect of our benefits, laws and regulations and the way they treat the flag of the United States of America. The fact that they won't learn our language is reason enough to get their a@@'@s out of the United States. God Bless our soldiers. If they had any love of the US they would be coming here legally and fighting in the same war to protect the country they all claim to want to live in. They don't want to help protect it, they just want it's wealth. These people are not only weak, they are also losers and when the threat of the US wealth comes under fire they will all want to move some where else and mooch off of that country. Give them drivers licenses, go ahead, I know someone who will tract every one I give them and then their *** is grass and the INS is the lawn mower.
Question: More on OU getting screwed! Your thoughts? NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma has taken the first step to appeal a ruling by the NCAA that stripped the football team of its 2005 wins and found the university guilty of "failure to monitor" the employment of its athletes.
OU President David Boren sent a notice of appeal of those two findings to NCAA President Myles Brand.
Boren noted the appeal was limited only to the "failure to monitor" finding and the NCAA's penalty that forced the Sooners to erase all of the wins from its 2005 season, when OU went 8-4 and won the Holiday Bowl.
"We have accepted a large majority of the NCAA's findings and penalties because we agree that the highest possible standards of conduct and ethics should be maintained and that when mistakes are made, even if they are unintentional, institutions must be held accountable," Boren said in a statement Friday.
The penalties stem from a case involving players, including starting quarterback Rhett Bomar and offensive lineman J.D. Quinn, who were kicked off the team last August for being paid for work they had not performed at a Norman car dealership, Big Red Sports and Imports.
On its notice of appeal form, Oklahoma indicated that it would appeal all five of the findings on which the "failure to monitor" violation was based -- including that the school failed to follow established procedures to track employment by collecting gross earnings statements for 12 athletes that worked at the car dealership and that it failed to detect that athletes were working at the dealership in the spring and fall of the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.
Oklahoma also indicated it would use all of its possible grounds for appeal -- that the evidence is contrary to the violation finding, that the facts do not constitute a violation, and that a procedural error affected the reliability of information supporting the infractions committee's finding. It also claims the removal of the Sooners' eight wins in 2005 was excessive.
The school requested the appeal be based on written record of its appearance before the infractions committee in April instead of being heard in person before the appellate panel.
In a letter to Brand released Friday, Boren wrote that the university wasn't requesting a hearing because of the "limited scope and nature of the appeal."
The removal of the wins was the only penalty challenged by the university.
Among penalties that were not challenged were the addition of two years of probation to an earlier penalty, extending the Sooners' probation to May 23, 2010, and the removal of two scholarships for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 school years.
The university already had banned athletes from working at the car dealership until at least the 2008-09 academic year and moved to prevent the athletes' supervisor at the dealership, Brad McRae, from being involved with the university's athletics program until at least August 2011.
In addition to Bomar and Quinn, the Sooners also dismissed walk-on Jermaine Hardison, who received payment for time he spent in a scrimmage and spring game.
Both Bomar and Quinn lost a season of eligibility. Bomar has been ordered by the NCAA to pay back more than $7,400 in extra benefits to charity, while Quinn was told to pay back more than $8,100. Both players transferred to Division I-AA schools -- Bomar to Sam Houston State and Quinn to Montana -- where they can resume their careers this season.
Once the NCAA receives OU's notice of appeal, the university has 30 days to file a written appeal.
Boren also informed Brand in the letter dated Thursday that Oklahoma has hired additional compliance officers, including a former member of the NCAA's enforcement staff, in hopes of having a "model, and continually improving, compliance system."
"Even though no compliance system is perfect and there is no guarantee that you can catch those who may intentionally choose to evade the rules, I can assure you that we will remain diligent in our efforts to have the best and most comprehensive compliance program possible," Boren wrote.

Todd J - YES it is personal for the NCAA. OU led the charge 25 years ago to break up the NCAA's unfair monopoly on college football TV rights. They have been gunning for them ever since! They did the same against Alabama because Alabama joined in with OU and a few other teams on that deal.
Answer: Just another way the NCAA is trying to screw OU any way they can.
