When I file for divorce, will the judge take the prenuptial agreement into consideration here in the USA, as California is a community of property state? Has anyone has dealings with cases like this? Any input would be helpful. websites for refeerence too. Thanks.
Answer: You're probably going to have to contact an attorney, but take a look at the CA State Bar's website regarding divorce. It does not answer your specific question, but you should be able to find an answer from there. You should also look at the CA Court's Self-Help Center material and contact them as well.
Question: Do some of you not understand what a prenuptial agreement is? I see that many of you don't.
A prenuptial agreement, antenuptial agreement, or premarital agreement, commonly abbreviated to prenup or prenupt, is a contract entered into prior to marriage or civil union by the people intending to marry. The content of a prenuptial agreement can vary widely, but commonly includes provisions for division of property and spousal support in the event of divorce or breakup of marriage.

Anyway, in most cases where one spouse is making more money than the other it is agreed upon that the spouse dose not in fact get to take all of their money. And that some of it is given to the spouse. Also if any children are to be born between husband and wife. A percentage of the money is given to the spouse who has custody of the children. That does not include what is to be given to the spouse who as less money.
Also, regardless of what terms the person with the most money is making on the prenup, the other spouse has to agree with it before it is taken into action.
actually telefantastical, that is exactly what I was saying, you sure can't put two and two together.
Answer: I'm sorry, but I refuse to put my possessions before him! He's that important. I'm not saying he's irreplaceable, but my possessions are for damn sure.
Also I won't come second to his materials, because in the end I can have what he has too. Yet the only thing is I want him.
Question: You're married and super rich? Would you sign a prenuptial agreement?
"A prenuptial agreement, antenuptial agreement, or premarital agreement, commonly abbreviated to prenup or prenupt, is a contract entered into prior to marriage, civil union or any other agreement prior to the main agreement by the people intending to marry or contract with each other. The content of a prenuptial agreement can vary widely, but commonly includes provisions for division of property and spousal support in the event of divorce or breakup of marriage. They may also include terms for the forfeiture of assets as a result of divorce on the grounds of adultery, further conditions of guardianship may be included as well. "
Answer: I wouldn't get married without my significant other signing one. divorce rates are exceedingly high and a prenup is the smart way to go. plus I feel people really don't understand what they mean these days so a lengthy explanation would definitely help
Question: what does antenuptial agreement mean?
Answer: "Ante" means "before," just as "pre" does. An antenuptial agreement is the same thing as a prenuptial agreement, that is, an agreement entered into by the husband-to-be and the wife-to-be prior to the marriage.
