There is a new law in florida that will stop the child support payments for paternity fraud but they have a self help program which is very expensive.
Answer: Call your local courthouse and talk to the Clerk of Court. They should be able to tell you if there are any forms you can fill out and file.
As far as I know every court in the US has some sort of waiver for filing fees if you cannot afford the payment.
Question: What is the cheapest way to form an LLC? State filing fees vary quite a bit I take it? State filing fees vary quite a bit?
Answer: you also need to check your state's laws about "foreign" corporations doing business in your state. Many states require such out of state corps, including LLCs, to file an annual report and pay an annual fee, as well as have a registered agent within the state [so, if necessary, it can be sued].
After you discover these details, you may want to rethink the idea of incorporating your LLC elsewhere just to save on fees.

Question: When you hire a lawyer, do you also pay the filing fees for legal documents? I am just curious if you pay a lawyer do you also have to come up with filing fees? or does it depend? just wondering typically i understand of course there will always be exceptions.
Answer: Yes, if you hire a lawyer, you will also be responsible for the fees and costs the lawyer incurs. The only real difference is when those get paid. If you've retained a lawyer on an hourly basis, you'll get those charges included on your monthly bill. If you've got a lawyer on a contingent basis, then those get paid when you settle the case or you get your judgment.
Question: filing fees? do i have to send my payment along with my paperworks to immigration?

Question: Can I deduct the cost of Tax Preparation Software or E-Filing Fees? I'm self-employed; does that make any difference when it comes to deducting the cost of Tax Preparation software, or the cost of e-filing fees? Rather then using Line 21 of Schedule A, can I deduct the cost on Schedule C? If yes, what line do I use?
Thank you!!!
Answer: The cost of preparing and computing your taxable income are deductible. You may deduct the reasonable and necessary costs of operating your business, which includes professional fees, legal, and accounting, etc. You can call it anything that seems accurate; e.g., tax prep, legal and accounting, dues and publications, lots of things would work. Only the portion that is attributable to the business is deductible on the Schedule C, the rest needs to be included on the Schedule A as a miscellaneous deduction (and is subject to a 2% AGI floor.) The trick is to determine which portion pertains to the business. An argument could be made that if it weren't for the complexities of reporting business income and expense, all of the related costs are attributable to the business. (That's not the IRS's opinion, though.)
Question: Are there annual filing fees for an LLC in Texas? Are there annual filing fees for an LLC in Texas?

Question: Divorce in New York- What are the actual filing fees, for the state? What about the county fees, on average? I've looked online, and the fees listed come to maybe $300. The atty says the filing fees alone cost $1200.
Please help me decide if the atty is to be trusted.
Answer: There are several different Court fees, depending upon the path of the case. However, contrary to the answer above, the court does not charge more for a complicated case or less for a simple or uncontested case.
All cases begin with the purchase of an Index number, for $210.00.
There will be a Request for Judicial Intervention, $95.00.
Motion Fees are possible. $45 each.
Note of Issue Fee is a certainty: $30.00
Stipulation of Settlement is likely: $35.00 to file.
The most common fees are listed at http://www.nycourts.gov/forms/index.shtm…
$1200 for filing fees is an absurdity. More likely the attorney was including his fees in the calculations.

Question: How are the tax filing fees handled if using Turbo Tax? This will my first year to do my own taxes. In the past I've always had them done and filed by professionals. My question is will I have to pay to have my state taxes filed before I can file or can they withhold that amount from my check. Such was the case in the past having it done by a service provider.
Answer: You probably qualify to use any of a number of free online tax preparation sites, including TurboTax for the federal tax return. Your state may also have free efile available. If not, state forms are normally simple to complete and state refunds are often much much smaller than federal refunds.
Consider filing the federal with a freefile site and preparing the state yourself if freefile is not available for the state.

Question: If you had any prep fees or filing fees taken out of your direct deposit refund, you will receive a check!? The only site that has posted this is the IRS. I should have received mine and once I didn't I contacted the IRS and I was told I would receive my check at the end of June.It didn't matter that I had direct deposit. I didn't have the prep fee money at the time, so I opted to have it taken from my refund.
Answer: Exactly what DJ said and it has hit us all exactly the same way. I was expecting my check on May 9th but now will wait until July 11th for it to be mailed and hope the post office forwards it to my new address but hey if not it should catch up to me about Christmas and who can't use an extra $600 at Christmas.
Question: What are the late fees for filing income tax late? If you file your income tax late, what late fees will you have to pay?
Answer: Facts About Filing Tax Returns
* Failure to file a return or filing late can be costly. If taxes are owed, a delay in filing may result in penalty and interest charges that could increase your tax bill by 25 percent or more.
* There is no penalty for failure to file a tax return if a refund is due. But by waiting too long to file, you can lose your refund. In order to receive a refund, the return must be filed within 3 years of the due date. If you file a return, and later realize you made an error on the return, the deadline for claiming any refund due is three years after the return was filed, or two years after the tax was paid, whichever expires later.
* Taxpayers who are entitled to the Earned Income Tax Credit must file a return to claim the credit even if they are not otherwise required to file. The return must be filed within 3 years of the due date in order to receive the credit.
* If you are self-employed, you must file returns reporting self-employment income within three years of the due date in order to receive Social Security credits toward your retirement.

Answer: most states charge you for the year of operation, some require advance
if Ct charges for the year of operation, you will owe regardless of when you dissolve it
ie. if you dissolve this by Dec. 31, 2010, you will owe for that year, if you wait to dissolve in 2011 you will owe for that year, regardless of how long it is in operation
Question: Divorce question: Why do I have to pay the filing fees? for a divorce when my lousy ex husband claims that he is broke and they let him slide on the fees? I am the one who is a single parent and working 6 days a week to support the kids, but am told I have to pay fees because I am gainfully employed. He works, but is paid in cash yet he tells the court that he is indigent.

Question: Are there fees for filing taxes late? I finally recieved my last W2. Hottopic Indust. gave me the run around, but I finally have all 3. My dad does our taxes and I'm not sure if he filed for an extension or is just going to submit them late. Does this make a difference? What kind of late fees should I expect? Does me turning in my taxes late affect my rebate eligibility?-Thanks guys!
AND if I don't owe taxes (if that's even possible) do I still get penalizied?
Answer: 3rd answer's a charm...consider this an addendum to those answers.
If you owe taxes, you will have a late payment penalty, even if you did file an extension. The late payment penalty by itself is 1% per month. That is not nearly as stiff as the 5% penalty per month you will be charged if you owe taxes and didn't file an extension.
