Question: what is the indian government is doing help stop female infanticide? the second question is what should the indian government should do now to stop female infanticide?
Answer: There are acts in the legal system in India that do not allow this kind of actions to occur. But who follows the law in India. An individual can find doctors that will provide you with this service. Just like people selling their kidney for money.
I read an article once that said it is hard to males to find a female to marry. That they have to travel a lot of distance to find a female to marry.
One day their will be a limited number of girls in India. Where are males going to find females to reproduce then?
Question: Is our country the only country with the highest female infanticide rates? Is our country India the only country with the highest female infanticide rates?
Answer: There can be only one highest and being European countries are so dinky, we probably ave more baby murders through abortion then any other country except possibly china which mandates one live child per family only. Most Chinese want a boy so the girls get the ax or are sold into slavery.
Apparently India is number one, China #2, and Pakistan #3.
Question: How is abortion and infanticide any different? If we all must be conceived to have life than surely this is the point at which life must start... Tell me one person in the history of humanity that has not been conceived
Answer: It's such an odd thing....
The "courts" will tell us abortion is legal because it "isn't" a baby....
then the SAME courts will convict a murderer on TWO counts of murder if he kills a pregnant woman.
All this NONSENSE is what you get from the political pressure of people who FAIL TO REALIZE the full impact of what they are asking for.
By legalizing abortion, they have blurred the lines between LIFE and DEATH. They claim to value CHOICE.... but only after ignoring 100 other CHOICES that led to her getting pregnant.
Question: Did abortions start in America 40 years ago or did we always have abortion or some type of infanticide? How did women kill their unborn children one hundred years ago, a thousand years ago? Or did they waite for the child's birth and then kill it?
why did the numbers of abortion increase with Roe V Wade?
Answer: Abortion dates back to ancient times. The first recorded evidence of abortion is from 1550 BC. A number of different methods were used before abortion was legalized: strenuous labor, fasting, bloodletting, herbs, sharpened implements (hence the term 'coathanger abortion'), application of abdominal pressure, etc. Before abortions were legal, many women died--both from botched abortions AND from dying in childbirth. The U California School of Public Health estimated that before 1966, about 5,000 to 10,000 women died each year from illegal abortions. If done legally, in a real clinic, now no one dies unless the doctor screws up.
Question: Did Palin try to commit infanticide when she ignored her water breaking, and flew 12 hrs to Alaska? She knew it was a "high risk" pregnancy. Did she deliberately delay medical attention just to heighten the risk that it would be still born?
Did she selfishly want the baby born in Alaska?
What does it say about her judgment? Would you do that,or let your wife do that?
Answer: Lol, these answerers act like it isn't true, but it is. Her water supposedly broke during a high risk pregnancy and THEN she flew 12 hours from Texas to Alaska. I certainly can't explain the logic in that.
Question: Should Children be spared from the horrors of War, maybe classify infanticide as a War Crime? As a 24/7 Pro War liberal anarchist, I really don't mind people that want to kill each other because of ancient disagreements.
But I oppose both using the Children as Combatants or targeting them.
Answer: That would be great. Maybe then the US won't have the second worst infant mortality rate in the developed world.
Question: Why do most of the Obama Pro abortion supporters pretend to be religious when no Religion supports Infanticide? I am all for their free speech and freedom of expression; but do they think the rest of the World is fooled by their rhetoric.
Answer: I never understood that either. I never understood these gay pastors and bishops either. To me that would be like having a president of a motorcycle club who don't ride a motorcycle.
Notice those people can't even stomach calling it what it is.It's pro-abortion. If you are not against it, you are for it.

Question: If infanticide is the murder of an infant under 12 months of age, what is? The term "infanticide" means the killing of an infant under 12 months of age.
Is there a term that refers to the murder of children?
Please, no senseless, thoughtless, foolish attempts at humor. This is a serious question.
I do apologize. I should have been more specific. I was looking for the term used to define the murder of a child by a parent.
LawyerX hit it! The murder of a child at the hands of his/her own parent is called "filicide".
Answer: There's no special term. It's generally referred to as "child murder." Although, there's a term for killing one's own child: "filicide."
Question: Does the fact that Barbara Boxer apparently supports infanticide mean that she's super smart? Since the uglier and more feministy a politician is, the most intelligent she is, does that mean that Barbara Boxer is therefore the smartest woman in the world? Because, when asked, she refused to oppose a woman's right to kill her child after it is born healthy in a hospital.
instantkarma: Yes she did.

Senator Santorum: I think the issue of where we draw the line constitutionally is very important. And I'm sure the senator from California [Senator Boxer] agrees with me. I think the senator from California would say that she and I, and the senator from Illinois and the senators from Arkansas and Kansas here, we are all protected by the Constitution with a right to life. Would you agree with that, senator from California - - [would you] answer that question?
Senator Boxer: I support the Roe v. Wade decision.
Santorum: So you would agree any child that's born has the right to life, is protected under the Constitution? Once that child is born?
Boxer: I agree with the Roe v. Wade decision. And what you are doing goes against it and will harm the women of this country. And I will speak to that issue when I get the floor myself.
Answer: No, Boxhim, AKA Ma'am, is the dumb one of Kalifornistan's Seahag delegation. I support her decision to roe or wade her way to Catalina Island. Better yet, Cuba.
Question: I like Joint family. But my wife likes single family. What to do ? I like joint family system along with my elder brother and parents. But my wife likes to be single family. She always insists me to come separate. Our family situation needs us (me and my brother) to be in same roof in order to have better financial control and also for betterment of young kids. My brother also likes joint family system. My thinking is,Kids can learn many things from joint family than single family. Am i right. or am i disappointing my wife. Pls suggest...
Answer: Right and Wrong. Right because it will help financially to have other people around helping with the bills and stuff. Wrong because families need their space from each other...especially in laws. I know from experience letting a bunch of ppl live in one place it's going to get hectic! More than likely it will end up more bad than good.
Question: why joint family is better tan nuclear family ? i what to knew why joint family is better than nuclear family?even the people wants to live in a nuclear family.................pleasss give me some summary about it
Answer: in joint family people can feel safe and happy, because all your family members living together , what ever problem may come will be faced by all, not by a single person.
if you stay alone with your 2 kids, wife and husband , then from where they take a help, if you are in joint family you will be helped by many family memebers .
but on 1 condition, in joint family all family members should have love and understand each other's feeling's and should have unity among family members .
Question: Any tax consequences to moving money within the family using joint accounts? I want to give my adult daughter more than 20k a year from my savings without the government stealing any of it. I'm thinking of opening a joint account with her, putting money in it, and letting her take money out of it as needed. Are there any tax consequences to this? Normally if you give someone more (than I think) 10k the receiver has to claim it as income.
Answer: 12000 per year is the limit without you having to pay gift tax - if you are married you am\nd wife can jointly give 24000 without paying gift tax - all tax free to daughter no matter what or you can give 12000 to daughter, 12000 to her spouse, each child, etc

World's Largest Family Take All Day Over Meals

KARNATAKA, INDIA, July 24, 2004: As one shift of the 178-strong Narsinganna family finishes eating, another hungry batch replaces them. Feeding the family takes up most of the day, and the family women cook in two-hour shifts, squatting before the wood fires in the smoky kitchen to prepare 1,600 millet rotis and vast quantities of vegetables and lentils. "Cooking and housework is all that we know," Saraswati, the family's oldest woman, said resignedly. The men eat first, served by the girls under 11 years old who do not yet cook. Dozens of infants crawl in and out of the laps of their elders, helping themselves. Five generations - about 130 people - live in the ancestral home, with the remaining 50-odd family members accommodated nearby. "It is compulsory to eat together twice a day in the main house," said Bhimanna, the 71-year-old patriarch. He explains that the family that eats together stays together, bringing happiness and security. This is why they continued to live together when the traditional Indian joint family is swiftly disintegrating. They believe that the womenfolk had kept them together, preferring brides of around 15 years old who had not studied beyond the sixth grade. A senior Narsinganna pointed out that keeping the women under control ensured harmony -- undue freedom could spell ruination. "We consume what we produce and share everything," said Thiranandra, 37, in charge of the family's rather full diary. "There is no room for individual wants." The annual budget is about 1.2 million rupees (£14,000) while a further £3,500 goes on clothing, medicines and farm labour. Annually they consume about 132,000 lb of millet and 33,000 lb of wheat in addition to home-grown vegetables. The family is clothed with about 20 bales of varied cloth bought during the Hindu festival of Dusherra. Weddings are celebrated on a grand scale, sometimes several couples at once. A lone television set has pride of place at the top of the family house and is switched on sparingly for popular soap operas. "It's like watching television on a busy railway platform."
Question: which is best joint family or necular family and why give strong answers? about joint family and necular family who is best and why
Answer: Nuclear family.
Love exists when you keep a distance. In a joined-family, the freedom is less. Problems are prone to arise. So better, nuclear family. Just make sure that you're available when you are needed. That's it.
Question: Wat is ur opnion of a joint family system? I no we all want to lead a happy independent life but wat do we do to our old parents if we live by our selves?Plz give sincere suggestions.
Answer: Joint families can be of two types:
One, in which we live with our parents and siblings married or not.
And the other in which we live with parents only.
I, personally, don't count the latter as a joint family system.
Parents have to live with their children, one or another. What other options do they have? Islam doesn't give us the option of old homes. So we have to keep them with us.And if it makes us unhappy we should think about our old age.We are not going to remain this strong forever.
But the first type,I simply dislike. We can't have our personal life with our siblings or spouse's siblings wandering about.Unmarried---Ok.But Maried----No way!!

Question: Sociologists: What is the difference between Joint Conjugal Roles and the Symmetrical family? Or is joint conjugal roles just part of the symmetrical family?
Answer: The idea of the Symmetrical family is that of Willmott and Young following their research into family life in London. They found that the symmetrical family consists of a nuclear family that have become separated from their extended kin, the husband plays a bigger part in family life, the conjugal bond is strong and the family is home centred. Conjugal roles are similar in terms of contribution although there is still the divide of "men's and women's work" and the conjugal roles are not interchangeable although each spouse contributes equally to the running of the household
Question: Is the concept of Joint family is slowly diminishing in India?
Answer: Family is the most important primary group in society. Family and marriage are considered to be the two pillars of any society and as such they are the two most important societal institutions. In India, traditionally and from time immemorial, marriage has been hallowed as sacred; and marriage for most Indians is not merely a sacrament but is sacrosanct. Once the couple enters into the bond of marriage, the relationship is considered perpetual—till death does them apart. In other words, marriage used to be for life and it worked as a bulwark against social vulnerabilities. It had an inbuilt system of checks and balances, and roles and priorities were defined by the society for the couple. What distinguished marriage in India from marriage in the West was the sanctity attached to marriage: a sense of perpetual bonding and an element of divinity in it.
