Question: What does a legal case manager do? ? I am currently a case manager at a homeless shelter. I have a job interview this evening for a position as a case manager with a local law firm that deals mostly with injury and wrongful death cases. I'm pretty sure there is a difference between a case manager for a non-profit organization and a legal case manager but I want to do some research on the position before the interview. What does a legal case manager do and how much money do they make?

Answer: You'd obviously get a case load of cases, probably keep files together of incidents, everything will be handed to you, reports, investigations, everything on that particular "client". It's your job to make appropriate contacts to people, and keep all files in an orderly fashion. Maybe set up meetings with certain personel. Pay: I can't tell you

Question: Legal Case example needed about teaching? I' am looking for a Law case to research: a teacher does not properly prepare student for the final examination by informing the student of chapters to study and does not give the required time to take the final examination. Student sues the school or/and teacher. Thank you. Do you think this would make a case?

Answer: No as their is no definition of "required time" for an exam nor is a teacher required by any law to "inform the student of chapters to study." You can't sue for things that are not part of any legal code and haven't been promised in writing as part of a contract. All students attending class would have had the same information and time to complete the test. Those who missed class and came late or had alternate test times must realize that such things are not the responsibility of the teacher to allow such alternatives. The same goes for the material. A student must assume that any and all material covered in a course is subject to testing. A teacher is in no way required to feed the student pablum with a spoon.

Question: Is it legal to sell a computer with the case manufacturer's name moved or removed? If a manufacturer puts their name on their computer case, is it legal to resell that case as part of a whole computer with the manufacturer's name/case model name moved somewhere else on the case, or removed entirely? EDIT: I'm in the USA, Indiana specifically. I'm starting a computer manufacturing company and I want to make sure I'm doing everything legally. The name of the manufacturer and case are written very boldly on the front of the case.

Answer: For a while there, computer cases had to be approved by the FCC because they caused noise in radios. There was a sticker or label on every case that had its FCC acceptance number on it, and you couldn't sell a case without it. Technically, at least. I seriously doubt anyone's ever going to come after you if you don't have this sticker on your case. As for manufacturer, NONE of us know who manufactured our cases. Even well-known brands like Dell and HP are made in China by the lowest bidder. If you assemble a computer with a case you bought separately, you have no idea where it really came from. It can't be said to even have a brand name.

When "A" signed the contract with "B", we assume that "A" and "B" understood that the two parties to the contract were "XYZ" and "B". We also assume that "C" informed "B" that "XYZ" would not perform. A second-year law-school student should be able to identify many legal issues that arise under these facts, including: (1) Whether "A" had "actual authority" or "apparent authority" to bind "XYZ" to the contract; (2) Whether "B" acted in good faith as to "XYZ"; (3) Whether the contract was otherwise enforceable by "XYZ"; and (4) Whether the actions by "C" constituted an "anticipatory breach of contract" by "XYZ". We cannot cite specific cases concerning these issues, unless we know the jurisdiction (county/state). Answer: By signing up to facebook you agree to facebooks term and conditions and they are in no way obligated to anything that happens. "When you publish content or information using the "everyone" setting, it means that you are allowing everyone, including people off of Facebook, to access and use that information, and to associate it with you (i.e., your name and profile picture)." Number 4 of sharing your content and information in the terms. Having your name seen is just something you will have to deal with when using a "free" social networking site. All I can say is if you don't like it delete your facebook account. Somebody knowing your name will not kill you though. People can see your name in the phone book, on sites that give personal information about every human on this earth. Sue those sites that tell people your phone number and address before you try to sue a site over telling someone your name.

One of the parents that is very involved with our school functions is listed under the child abuse central registry- this is because of an incident that occured in 2000 and it was dealing with an 11month baby boy she was babysitting at the time. i just want to know if it is illegal for her to come onto school property or not

Answer: I do believe it is illeagal for them to be closer than 1,000 feet of a school . The distance I'm not postive about but they certainly are not permitted on school grounds.
