Question: Anyone have any photos of 1920 service station's?In the process of restoring one and would like some reference? I would like any info anyone has regarding 1920's gas stations. We are in small town in north east Kansas.... So if anyone knows what petroleum company would have been here at that time also would be great.
Answer: Inside or out? Also what type of building?

Question: How can i fix the Print Spooler Service stopping during the installation process of my canon printer? So, i jus bought this brand new Canon Inkjet All in one printer. (MP250)
And i follow the exact directions from the manual to install into the computer, which are as follows:
1. If usb cord is connected between printer and computer, un connect and shut off printer.
2. Turn on computer, and insert Setup CD-ROM into the cd-rom drive.
3. Click run Msetup4.exe on the AutoPlay screen then click continue on the user account control dialog box.
4. Click EASY INSTALL.
5. Click INSTALL.
And by the time it starts to install, it cancels and a page pops up. and this is what is says.
PROCESSING CANNOT BE CONTINUED BECAUSE THE PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE HAS BEEN STOPPED. RESTART THE COMPUTER TO START THE PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE AND THEN START AGAIN.
Multiple times i have restarted my computer, and it always says the same thing..
Also, i have done the whole,
1. Click on start
2. right click on computer
3. click on manage
4. go to services and applications
5. click services
6. scroll down to print spoolers (spoolers)
and this has not worked for me because, the Print Spoolers and or Spoolers is not there.
I have Windows 7, and they are compatible.
But its this one little problem that messes it up each time.
Any advice please?
to the first question: ive done that and have not located a print spooler. thats part of the problem.
and to the second question, that didnt work either. =/
but im gonna try the first thing you said.
Whoops. I thought the first answer was Mackey, but it wasn't. So reverse that please :)
So, i tried all of your suggestions. And they have all sort of worked to a point.
Now, when i go to spooler and try to start the service, i get a page that says.
WINDOWS COULD NOT START THE SPOOLER SERVICE ON LOCAL COMPUTER.
ERROR 2: THE SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED.
Any ideas whats wrong now?
:(
Answer: Go to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.
In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the right
Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".
Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".
Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.
Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.
Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.
The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic
Question: Where can i find merchant who will allow me to process credit cards for online payment service? Hello!
I have a lot of time that i am searching to find an company who will allow me to process credit cards via this system:
http://www.blizsoft.com/enterprise/
Credit cards would be used for users to upload funds on the system.
It is almost same system as moneybookers, paypal etc.
The problem that i see is the business type of the system.
I am not in the US.
Any help will be very very appriciated.
Answer: The problem is you don't need another company to accept payments with that system. They are a third party processor which means they are their own payment system. You can't combine them with a true merchant account or another provider as it just doesn't work that way (although you can accept multiple forms of payment on your website if you so choose).
So, if you want to use that system, just sign up for them and start using them.
Question: Does Google provide a credit card processing service? (I'm not refering to Google Checkout.) See Details. A few weeks ago, someone told me about a new service Google is starting. They said that Google plans to offer a new credit card processing service. So, instead of using your bank to process your customers' credit cards, you would use Google's service instead. Supposedly you will also earn credit for Adwords by using this service. Has anyone else heard about this?
Answer: Yes. It's called Google checkout and it launched in June of this year. Here's a link to the info on it. It is basically Google's version of PayPal. It's cheaper than PayPal and even cheaper than most merchant accounts. It even processes American Express at .20 per transaction + 2% vs the 5% plus transaction fee that American Epress typically charges.
Question: The process of the postal service? Can someone explain the process of the USPS? When you mail something, does it go by plane? By trucks? Cars? Does it goes trhough stations or something to be certified? Please be specific.
Answer: it depends where its going (locally),across the country, in the same state? (probably by truck)
international, and what class of service, express mail? priority mail
global priority? global express?
I heard that the postal services uses the services of Fedex
for their priority packages and international services..
thats why you usually see a fedex drop box at most major
post office)
Question: What is the process to upgrade from 100 amps to 200 amp service? We're remodeling our kitchen and have run out of available circuit slots. We thought about adding a subpanel or possibly replacing our main panel with one with more circuits. The other option is to go ahead and get upgraded service with a big panel.
We are wondering what the approximate price is (in the Minneapolis, MN area) of upgrading to 200 amps? And what does that include? Thanks!
Answer: In my area, MO., my electrician charges around $700.00 to up grade. This covers pulling a permit to completion.
Good planning should make this a one day job, as well it should be, to keep things like food from going bad in your fridge among other sensitive electrical related issues.

Answer: that's amazing , you answered my question before I asked it. Are you a psychic.
Question: what legal action could I take against a service shop that ended up charging me money? What legal action could I take against a service shop or warranty company that ended up charging me money for something that is covered by warranty. Shop worked on my car on a part that warranty covered, and didn't check something they were supposed to check in the process and 1 week later the part they were supposed to check went bad (due to them not checking) my warranty wouldn't cover the labor again (5hrs). in the process service personnel at the shop lied, refused to dispute the warranty company, and on top of it was extremely (to the extreme) rude, called me a liar etc.
In the end service manager ''agreed'' to cover 50% of labor cost (they took the engine apart without my permission and claimed they got my permission over the phone, no signature) and I needed my car to go to work so by this point I had no other choice but to pay the left over part to get my car back.
I am not looking for a quick buck I just want my money back from the last 2 repairs,1st repair I paid deductible
Answer: get a lawyer you got screwed, and charge them for the other bills and court costs

I am looking for anyone that have a story regarding misconduct from a Process Server who execute and filed a statement in court of service of document that he did not actually do. Answer: Once upon a time there was a a process server that did not do proper service as he claimed.
He died and went to Hell for lying.
THE END
Question: What does it mean To file a motion to enforce settlement agreement in a divorce case ?
Answer: apparently something that was agreed upon in the divorce was not done.
Therefore the ex-spouse that was supposed to receive something agreed to but not received is suing the other ex-spouse to get it.
Question: Can a collection agency remove something from your credit report as part of a settlement agreement? Can I request that a collection agency take a debt off my credit after I pay it all off?
I mean immediately when I pay it off. It isn't coming off for 4 years from now, but if I pay it off in 2 years, I want to tell the collection agency I'm not paying unless they take it off in 2.
Answer: The deal is that you have to get them to agree to it, in writing, before you pay it off. And they have to agree to remove it, not show it as paid. A lot of agencies will initially tell you that they legally can't do this, but it's bunk, they can and will if they believe it's the only way to get your money. Keep going over the person's head until you get someone to agree to this. And remember, delete, not paid. Paid will just re-age the account to new and will keep your score depressed. Otherwise, if you just want it shown as paid, they legally have to do this. Get a letter from them each month and send it in to all three bureaus if you like -- or every 6 months or whatever - and they will update your balance. Good luck!
Question: When a mediation hearing is concluded, settlement agreement signed, is there a timeline for client compensation Settlement agreement was reached March 10, 2006 at mediation hearing in Baton Rouge, La. Is there a limit on time for attorney's to compensate all parties involved.
Answer: Well, I am sure they have a time limit, although I doubt it is what you'd want to hear. Probably at least ninety days?
The losing opponent will have to send the payment to your lawyer who will then put the check into a "trust" account, or some such crap, and then divvy up the proceeds, themselves first, of course, then any fees, doctors with liens, and last of all, you. I would have you call your attorney and ask these questions. Get what you paid in fatigue and pain for, answers and monetary compensation. Don't let them blow you off or make you sound greedy, it is your right to ask and their job to answer. End o' story. Good luck with the timing.
Question: What happens after the separation agreement property settlement has been signed and filed in Virginia? Can anyone recently divorced in Virginia tell me what happens after the property settlement seperation agreement is signed and filed? Does the parites both have to sign another document for the divorce to be finalized?
Answer: Okay once the stipulation agreement is signed, your Complaint is filed with the court. Depending on if you have children, you have to wait six months (without) or a year (with) in order to have your case finalized before the court. Your husband should sign a waiver (available on http://www.courts.state.va.us/forms/home.html) that basically says he was served with the complaint and doesn't want to go to court or be notified of anything...he's out of it. It's easier this way and all the issues that you have were outlined in the stip anyway so it's cool. It's a different waiver if he's military, though.
After that, the court will give you a hearing date and you'll go before the judge for approximately 10 minutes with a witness. He'll ask if you plan on reconciling, when you were married, etc. and then you're done once he signs the Final Decree. Voila. Easy process.
Question: how do you prove you were induced sign a settlement agreement?
coerced by sister who promised to split her share with me 50/50 if i were to sign. I am sick with terminal illness, as well as emotionally stressed out because of all the actions portrayed by her. And she broke me down with her promises. Oral agreement but i do have emails that state she in fact was splitting her share 50/50.
Answer: induced, or coerced? big difference in the two. it's the difference between enticed and forced. did you turn in a police report?
Question: Did American settlers go into the settlement agreement with Mexico knowing they would become part of the U.S.? Did American settlers go into the settlement agreement with Mexico knowing they would become part of the United States? I would like to know! Thanks. :o)
Answer: yes that was part of the idea. They would live on the land as squatters and then hope that the American gov't would defend their property rights.
Question: I went to court and the judge said "divorced." However we haven't signed the settlement agreement.? My question is...am I officially divorced or does the settlement agreement have to be signed before I'm actually free?
Answer: Good god i dont know but i wish i could hear those words...
we filed like a month ago and still cant even get the initial conference until a month from now...
Question: What is step by step Divorce Procedure in CA - Final Settlement Agreement? Given:
Couples divorcing married for 12 years.... 2 children , (18 and 20). Wife initiated the divorce. Both agreed on the Final Settlement Agreement last year Sep 2006 that includes : 1) wife wants family support from husband until Sep 2007 2) wife wants 50% of the stocks and bonds 3) wife wants 50% of the retirement of the husband.....(Take note: The wife never worked in their 12 yrs of marriage) . All of the conditions in the FSA have been completed by the HUSBAND - all the demands/money have been handed out to the wife. But the husband found out that the WIFE's lawyer has not submitted the FSA to the court yet so the judge can sign it....The husband keeps calling the lawyer of the other party but wife not cooperative to work on it (of course she has all the money already). So in other words, the husband still UNDIVORCED as of this time bcoz the judge has not yet signed the papers. So the question is.... what is the right way the HUSBAND should have done? Continue below...
What should have been done by the husband? He should have waited for the judge to sign the FSA before giving the demands? Or he did right thing to give demadnd first before the judge can sign it? How is this handled in CA?
Which one should go firts.. give the demands? or judge has to sign before hisband gives the money to the wife?
Answer: You are asking questions that only a lawyer can answer. If you don't have enough money for a lawyer, at least get in contact with a paralegal. Or got to the courthouse and ask for legal aid, or check the Internet.
Question: ERISA Settlement Agreement Under Duress Legal? My sister who has psychiatric disabilities worked for company and carried and LTD insurance policy to reimburse 70% of income if disabled. Upon becoming disabled she received her compensation. The company changed plan administrators and was bought out by another company. Soon after she was denied benefits due to nature of her illness. She hired an ERISA attorney who was not responsive and he never secured copy of of original SPD which she believes did not limit her benefits because of Mental Illness clause and states would be entitled until no longer disabled or age 65. (Even has a letter from original Plan Administrator stating as much). Unfortunately she attended a mediation hearing and for lack of better judgment I let her go in there by herself. She ended up signing a settlement agreement that miniscule to the $450,000 she was entitled to. Since the attorney was non-responsive, she felt under duress and lacked judgment is there anyway she get this opened back up? Possibly attorney malpractice. Also, aren't her rights protected under ADA and Mental Health Parity Act against discrimination for a disease that is mental in nature? Does anyone have any ideas how she might get this reopened and invalidate agreement signedin 7/2009. I feel bad she is struggling to get by on mere social security which barely pays her mortgage and does not qualify for any assistance. She would have had an additional $1852 month if benefits were reinstated as they should have been. Does she have any recourse. I feel so bad for her and partially responsible knowing she has cognitive, judgement issues with her illness.
For the 2nd gentlemen who replied you misunderstood She did not get a 450,000 settlement. Correction you can receive SSDI + LTD the social security offsets the LTD so it reduces the benefit amount the insurance company would pay. Additionally, Plan limits depend on the SPD (Summary Plan Description) in effect at the time of her disability. Where it is true most companies limit the benefits her particular policy as stated in a letter she has from the original plan administrator and other documents states she is entitled to disability until no longer deemed disable or to age 65. Also, you are correct in that only an ERISA attorney can handle this type of case, and she did employ one he just didn't do the job and coerced her to settle for $60 and she ended up with $33 after his fees. Much less than the $1852 a month she was getting after the offset of the SSDI. She worked for this company for 20+ years, was an excellent employee with all kinds of commendations and recognitions and was top
Answer: she is struggling on a settlement of $450,000.00?
if she receives SSDI the LTD insurer takes an offset, she does not and CAN NOT receive both.
LTD generally is only for 2 years of disability that prevents you from doing your regular job, it will only continue after 2 years if someone is totally disabled & unable to do ANY job.
the keys to be considered under ERISA and LTD is the ability to do any work.
the definition of disability under ERISA is much stricter, and harder to meet then under SSDI.
ERISA cases are next to impossible to appeal since when you go to court for ERISA all that legally can be challenged is the outcome, NO new evidence may be considered. ERISA must be dealt with in the federal court system, it is strictly regulated and enforced.
the complexities of the laws and the fact that there is little room for any type of negotiations is why so few attorneys will take such a case. seldom are the settlements ever changed, even when challenged because the insures simply MUST follow the guidelines, there is basically NO judgment involved.
if you want to try and contest this you will have to make a choice from a very limited number of attorneys who can represent you/her in federal court and they must have the expertise under ERISA.
MOST attorneys can NOT handle this case.
I am NOT implying you have a case, I think you probably do NOT but if you which to proceed you must do so quickly there are time limits (which may have already passed)......
Question: After a divorce settlement agreement, can ex file contempt for something not in agreement? My divorce has been finalized over a month and now my ex says he is going to file contempt on a debt I am not paying. The settlement agreement does not list the debt as my responsibility anywhere and says he is responsible for any and all debt in his name secured by any assets or collaterol.
The debt is solely in his same and he secured the loan with the house when we were married. In 2008, however, there was a judgment against him (we were separated and I was unaware of this) for this debt which he signed in Magistrate Court that it was his debt and he would re-pay.
He is now saying that since I got the house in the settlement and the debt was originally secured with the house, then I am responsible for that debt.
Can he file contempt or re-open the case if I don't pay?
Answer: He can file whatever he wants to file. It still won't make you responsible for any debt not assigned to you in the divorce decree. The divorce and the agreement are final so he cannot "re-open" the divorce. Ignore him. Let him file whatever he pleases and then you can answer. Don't let him intimidate you into paying something you don't owe.
Question: Settlement Agreement? What is Settlement agreement?
My aunt just got one similar to this...
www.junkfax.org/fax/reference/sampleSettlement.doc
Can she and my uncle just sign it?
They asked me what it was but I didnt know it either.(They cant speak english very well...)
There was some party thing lol and defendent and stuff ...I'm only 13 lol I dont know anything about these ...
I only know that they didnt do anything wrong lol
Some bad ppl did something to their property or something lol
anyways can you please explain it to me ?
& Can they just sign it?
(They got this thing today on a fax)
Answer: It sounds like the courts were involved if there was a defendant. A settlement agreement is a resolution to the damages that were incurred to your aunt and uncle. The defendant is offering your family an amount of money equal or less than what your family is requesting for the damages that the other party did. They can sign, but remind them that this is a legal document that is enforceable by law. If the damages were significant and expensive then I would probably have a lawyer check the document out. Probably a good idea anyways for legitimacy of the document and the settlement agreement.
