Question: how can supervised visitation be ordered? Just wondering how that process works and why would a judge rule that. Not for myself, for the father of my unborn child.

Answer: Depending on your state, the Court can order supervised visitation where there is some well-founded fear of harm to the child and/or parental kidnapping. It may also be ordered where there is an anger management problem. Consult an attorney near you. If you cannot afford one, contact the local Bar Association, and they will help you.

Question: If your ex has court or supervised visitation on Sat. for 4 hours. Can he say he's only coming for two hours? My ex says I'm breaking a court order if I don't give him visitation for the last 2 hours. He said his friends which are the supervisors cannot make it until the last 2 hours.

Answer: I think people are answering one side or the other, so I'm going to do both. If you are ordered to provide the child from 12-4, you must do so. If he doesn't get there until 2, that's his problem. But even if you know that you have to have the kid where they are supposed to be from 12-4. That's it. The extent of your responsibility. But you must do it. If only the number of hours is set and not the exact time, you have to work out the four hours that fit everyone's schedule. If he is suggesting that he will be there without approved supervisors, you need to contact your court liaison.

Question: How does a father remove, filed out of malice, a supervised visitation order ? The alleged event caused no physical or emotional damage to the child, but rather was filed out of mailice by a disgruntled former spouse and on an Ex-Partei basis- the father has no crimanl record and has a clear driving record. The child is having serious emotional problems because of separation from her father and this order must be removed so the two can be father and daughter again and not in a fish bowl.

Answer: You'll have to bring evidence to convince a judge that either 1) the alleged event didn't happen, or 2) the allegation was made with malicious intent.

Question: The father of my child has supervised visitations.He's not showing up for visitation, What should I do? I recently got an order from a judge like on the 10th of the month. Help!!! I am not sure what to do..and advice is really needed. I feel like the child is being neglected. Answer: Get more child support. The less time the non-custodial parent spends with the children, the more child support they pay.

Question: Is a criminal record of the father for drug abuse and statutory rape enough to get supervised visitation?

Answer: That should be enough to require visitation to be supervised. Unfortunately, anything short of attempted murder of the child is unlikely to prevent SOME level of visitation.

Question: Has anyone had temporary supervised visitation for stopping visitation? I was being harrassed by the father of my son and I was granted a civil harrassment restraining order. The father couldnt be found after I stopped the visitation for a few weeks to serve him. The next thing I knew my son was taken by police, I was put in jail for a few hrs now for a month1/2 I have supervised visits, 2hrs a day 3xs a wk. At court today my son didnt even smile at me or know who I was because he didnt remember me..his mama. Razz said to my son" Dont you want to see your mom?" He acted like I was a stranger.

Answer: I agree with the others, if you are going to tell the story for sympathy, which is what you did, tell the whole story so the right person gets the sympathy, probably the father or the children in this case. I married one like you and it is easy to see now. I for one am glad to see you got what was coming to you. The system does work even though it takes a while.

Question: how to get full custody with supervised visitation? my ex-husband has joint custody of our 3 1/2 year old son. we separated when he was just about seven months and in that time he has seen him 6 times total. but he's been paying child support. my current husband and i want to move to indiana for a better job opportunity and want full custody before we go, what is the best option?

Question: Questions regarding supervised visitation?? I have a question on child supervised visitation? I of course live in Colorado with our daughter. Her father lives in Fresno California. We got our final orders the other day. I have Sole legal and physical custody and he gets supervised visitation. Since supervised visitation is here in Colorado, what if I visit family or friends in California? Does it carry over to California as well or should I have brought that up to the court the other day? The supervised visitation has to do with his major alcohol problem so I am not positive on what to do from here?

If you would not trust this, please give me a heads up on something that will work?? I did google the company - but the company is suposedly based in London and does not show up on a US search. I tried Yahoo International, UK and Ireland, no go, nothing good or bad. I did however search the bank the cashier's check is drawn on, and it does exsist.

Answer: Run for your life. In my opinion, it's a total scam. In every con game, there has to be a "sting", a time when they actually ask you for money. Up until you hand over cash, you can always back out. But I can see that they are already laying the groundwork for the sting in this case. That remark about "certified checks". Sure. What will most likely happen is that they will send you a bad check, and insist that you cash it immediately and send them most of the money (probably by wire transfer, so it can't be traced). The check will bounce, of course. But before it does, they will be long gone with your hard-earned cash. Be warned that most "work at home" offers are scams. That's unfortunate, because there are a lot of people like you who need that kind of work. Predators know that and take advantage. You might want to report them to the FBI or your State Attorneys General before they rob other people.
