Question: what will happen if i use olay moisterizer with my proactive? i have really dry skin and proactive is too expensive to buy alot of their moisterizer, and making sure its fine to mix and match a little bit
Answer: Its fine to mix. Nothing bad will happen. Its just when you mix active things like clean and clear with proactive sort of thing. Olay is just a moisturizer.
Question: What can Jobseekers and Employment Agencies do to avoid being FOOL by COMPANIES? When COMPANIES advertise for job openings the salary budget is "Negotiable". Then they get the employment agencies to help them to source for the same openings but setting different salary budgets for different employment agencies to work on.
Currently employment agencies “Do Not Disclose Companies Name" to jobseekers they represent. Consequently the same jobseeker may be sending to the same "Company" directly or through different employment agencies with different salary budgets.
1) Now if you are the Company receiving the same CVs from the same jobseeker with different salary budget via different sources what will you think and do with the same jobseeker ?
2) If you are a Jobseeker, do you think you will get the job ?
3) If you are the Employment Agency do you think you can close the deal ?
The consequences will be the Companies asking to see more CVs and lose confidence with the jobseekers at large and ended up taking a longer time for employment agencies to close deals. This will affect the survival of jobseekers and employment agencies.
So I urge Employment Agencies “To Disclose Company Names" they represent to all jobseekers from the start to avoid duplicated CVs with different salary budgets ended in the hands of Companies.
Jobseekers and Employment Agencies have to work closely to share information about Companies who are out there to "Test Market" and wasting jobseekers and employment agencies time, effort and money bearing in mind that the Companies do not pay a single cent at all.
By not disclosing and sharing information about the "Companies" amongst employment agencies and jobseekers it will only drive employment agencies and jobseekers into desperation. Companies will take advantage of this weakness and keep setting lower and lower salary budgets for employment agencies to work on. This will further create for frustration and desperation amongst employment agencies and jobseekers. The job market in Singapore is small and the employment agencies and jobseekers have to work "Smart" and not let the Companies “Fool” them.
Employment agencies should not worry about jobseekers sending their CVs direct to their Clients cause most of the Companies have that "Shopping for the Best Candidate" attitude through various sources. At the end of the day it is all about which jobseeker has the "BEST MATCH" in the eyes of the Companies not the employment agencies nor the jobseekers.
Companies may instruct employment agencies “Not to Disclose" their Companies Names to jobseekers so that they are better "Manipulate" jobseekers and employment agencies. Companies usually want to portray themselves as good employers who are willing to pay what the jobseekers are worth for. So they choose to hide behind these employment agencies to "test market" without dirtying their own hands.

Answer: As a jobseeker you don't really have anything to negotiate with. A company that wants to recruit at the lowest possible rate will be able to do so. If they don't pay enough to retain high quality staff, they will eventually suffer - but that can take years, or even decades.
Agencies are more interested in how many people they place than in whether their placements are in good jobs they will stay with.
The only thing you can do is to keep looking until you find something. And then, if it isn't good enough, continue looking.
Question: How come white people can't tell the difference between pro (proactive)black people and radical blacks? Proactive -acting in anticipation of future problems, needs, or changes, is what pro black people try to accomplish within our communities. Pro Black, black people do things like inform other blacks of the current system in place, and how they must navigate though it, and teach how to avoid and be aware of obstacles that are set in motion that they have no control over. Proactive (Pro Black) people push for equality in schools and education. Pro black people do community watches. Pro black people tutor other blacks that can't afford expensive tutors for SAT prep. This is the role pro black people play, and pro black philosophy.
Radical blacks - Would be something along the lines of the New Black Panther Party, they are not to be confused with the 70's black panther party. The new black panther party is the equivalent of the KKK, but the old black panther party was to protect black people from evil white people and match the type of force directed towards black people with equal response, at the time white racism was at its highest peak.
I consider myself Pro Black, and that in its self is not racist.
Answer: I'd say it's because of this "race card" term.
With that term they think that if you acknowledge the problems in your racial "community" and look for the source and it's due to racism than they will say your just "playing the race card" and they'll think your being racist.

Question: Scottish clan MacQuarrie, McQuarrie, McQuary or any spelling variation looking for information? We are looking for new members for our yahoo group for further genealogy information and matching. This group I stumbled on quite by accident recently and they are really proactive and helpful. Do you have info or need help? If so
Yahoo group
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/macquarrie/
A list for all related to the Scottish clan MacQuarrie (MacGuire, MacWharrie, MacCrory, and any spelling
Answer: Sarah, I'm a member of the MacQuarrie Clan on line, so I just logged on to say hello and to further emphasize that we are an international group that encourages very active and open-minded discussions about our clan's history--witness the continual debate about the transportation and subsequent marriage of John Macquarrie (b. 1710), a supporter of Bonnie Prince Charles at the Battle of Culloden and most likely the eventual husband of one Miranda Stout as well as the subsequent progenitor of many American Macquarries.
P. S. -- Boomer, although a lot of Bonnie Prince Charles' supporters were Roman Catholics, not all of them were. Another one of my ancestors, a Christian McLachlan, who was also killed at Culloden, was the son of a Church of Scotland minister. I don't know John Macquarrie's religious preferance in 1746, but a generation later, his son William was a member of a Baptist church in Kentucky.
Question: What am I doing wrong when it comes to getting a job? My closest co-worker just got a new job...and it makes me crazy because that could have been me. I’m more educated than him; I have a longer job history and experience…why wasn’t I the one who got a new job? Oh yeah, I actually have applied to tons of jobs and have not received any viable offers.
Does this happen to most of them out there? I have been religiously searching for a job through major job portals and have applied for most that match my qualifications. I am confident that my resume and cover letter is in the best shape possible. So what should I expect? I am not waiting for the Job Search Fairy to come and drop the perfect job in my lap. I have been aggressive enough where I think I should have landed a job by now.
I am not wishing for a new job and always will be actively looking for one. I look through job postings and picture myself with that company, doing that job, earning more money. On the contrary someone gets offered their dream job and I’m still sitting on the sidelines hoping it was me who was supposed to be moving onto bigger and brighter career endeavors. I am confident that I am proactive when it comes to searching for a job. I don’t sit and wish each day away. I don’t think work is such drudgery. So where am I going wrong?
I have my resume and cover letter up to par and that should be a huge force that leaps me forward. I am still confident with my job search documents I send out; I am not getting a whole lot of calls for interviews as I had anticipated.
If it’s a task that you don’t want to tackle yourself, don’t. There is no law that says you have to write your own resume and cover letter. In fact, a professional resume writing service can garner very positive job search results, in most cases. It is money well-spent if you choose the right company for you.
I am confident that I have got everything in place and am still applying. I act immediately and apply for a posting that matches my qualifications or interest. You would think I should be getting a lot more results that way. Every time I submit my resume, I just think: “This could be it. This could be my new job.” I am that excited every time I apply for a job that matches my interests and qualification. Nothing promising has come of my applications so far but I think the possibilities are endless. That alone gets my blood flowing and my heart pumping.
Answer: There are three components that will get/not get you the job.
1. Resume/Cover Letter
2. Interview/Thank You Letter
3. Luck
The first thing I would advise is that you limit your resume to no more than two pages and get a second opinion about your resume even if you believe that it is "perfect". Also, you should include keywords that match the type of job that you are applying for because many companies and recruiters use automated computer systems to screen out applicants which means that your resume may never actually be read by a human. Do not use a generic resume, it should always be customized for the job that you are applying for. Don't forget to include a cover letter that explains your strengths and why you would be the best candidate for the job. Make sure that your resume and cover letter both contain good grammar and no spelling errors.
Secondly, I would advise that you practice interviewing and when you think you have it right, practice some more. You can practice in the mirror, with family members, or at mock job interviews. Ask yourself some questions and place yourself in the role of the interviewer and think about how they might think about your answers.
For example: What are your strengths/weaknesses? Why are you leaving your current job? Why should I hire you?
Granted, the questions above, are very simple examples but they can reveal a lot to you before you are in an actual interview. The most important thing to remember when you are in an actual job interview, is to be relaxed. In other words... "Don't let em see you sweat."
The last thing to remember is that no matter how well you are prepared, is that luck is a factor when trying to get a new job. Sometimes it just wasn't meant to be, but that doesn't mean you quit looking.
Remember this...
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going!"
Question: Skin discolored after acne clears up? OK so after you've treated the acne, those acne spots are now darkened or discolored; what can I use to change that and have it go back to normal color like before to match with the rest of my face?
I'd really prefer real answers, and not just "go see your dermatologist" or "use ProActive". I'm already using EXPOSED and it's pretty good, but the discoloration is still there - and I'm sure Pro Active won't take care of it either. There has to be some kind of CREAM for this kinda thing.
Thanks in advance.
Answer: Those are acne scars. You need to buy Epicurin's Glycolic Polymer Solution. Click on the link below and read about how to use this product. I highly recommend it and it works. Click on the second link to use the locater to find where you can by this product.
Good luck!!!
Question: Whats is the best acne product? please help i need a acne product.OKay i have pimples but they dont show that much cuz it matches my skin color but its annoying having pimples please help!!!
What do i use nuetragena? proactive What?! helpp
Answer: proactive or clearasil
Question: What do you think of the Buddy Belt Harnesses? I'm now buying supplies for my puppy that I'll be getting in August. (she was born Father's Day) Seeing as both of her breeds (pomeranian and chihuahua) are prone to collapsed trachea I wanted to be proactive and these were the only harnesses made specifically to protect a small dog's delicate windpipe. I am considering buying them three sizes to ensure I always have the right size for her as she grows. Here is a link to them if you haven't seen them
http://www.funnyfur.com/buddy-belt-dog-h…
Also, what is your opinion on the customization options? I think it just looks tacky and wouldn't match the leash anymore (I'm getting all the harnesses in the same color so I only need one matching leash)
Uh that may be true but puppies are going to pull until they're trained and collars are just plain not good for small dogs. thanks, but I want to ensure she can't hurt herself whether she's trained or not.
Answer: I think that you should get a regular collar and teach the puppy to walk on a leash properly. Don't try to avoid the problem, a well trained dog does not pull on the leash and therefore it will not hurt it's trachea.
Question: how much glycolic acid should i use? i just turned 18 early december. i have been haing skin problems since i was 12. i first developed spots of my skin peeling and my doctor told me it was just a phase i'll grow out of it. then i started gettin bumps around my t-zone area badly. i would pick at them of couse because they were nerve wrecking. and then i started getting bumps on my back. and back to my face i started to discovered little hairs that would grow one by one along my jaw area, very thin. and i plucked them they would return for about 6-7weeks. now along my stomach area i grow hair and shave but bumps and dark spots appear as well as my bikini area. then i discovered keratosis pilaris because of pictures and discriptions matching with the hair all over my legs. and NO female should look like this!! i've tried proactive, acnefree, dr. miracles. drying lotions neutrogena, all that stuff and now i think the best thing is glycolic + lactic acid and lotions as well as soaps that exfoliate my skin. i am african american and, as you should know now i have dealt with the embarrassment the frustration n this condition for a while now. my question is how much GA should i use. i can take the pain from burning. i want this stuff gone and continue to fight this skin condition. nothing too expensive. if you could help me..i couldnt be anymore thankful
Answer: Its not acne, which is why treating it with acne meds are having very little beneficial effect, and are irritating it to boot.
You might want to try Lachydrin - which is a 5% lactic acid lotion, or you could have a pharmacy order you a bottle of lachydrin 12 - which is a 12% OTC lotion. Another one that I have found that I like is the Eucerin Intense Smoothing (hm, I think thats the name, its the one with the turquoise cap anyhow) - that is a 5% lactic acid, and 10% urea lotion. Urea is another debriding agent to remove excess skin. Its a little greasier than the others, but in really dry weather I like it.
As far as cleansing - you actually dont want to use scrubs and such - it will oddly enough make things worse, I know it seems counter intuitive considering that chemical exfoliating makes things better, but go figure...I use aveeno for babies or huggies for babies...something unscented with mild detergents. I think because of the acids the skin gets sensitive to perfumes and such.
Oh - and as far as glycolic lotion proper - the only one that I know of that doesnt cost a bloomin' fortune is the Lubriderm with the dark pink cap - I called them and they wouldn't tell me the percentage of acid in it, so I figured "screw 'em, if they dont want to help me, I'm not giving them my money" - most of them are very expensive or hard to find.
I dont have KP, but I do have skin issues that are very similar due to another medical problem. This is what has been working for me.
Good Luck.
Question: i need acne help ASAP? I've been using Proactive twice a day for 6 months,
and i'm not seeing any improvements
i'm begginning to be very self-concious and i need some suggestions.
here's some info about me,
i'm in grade 8,
girl,
athletic,
i use true match foundation
i take my makeup off everyday before bed
i try to wash my pillow cases every week
i avoid touching my face
suggestions?
Answer: Proactiv did not work for me. Instead, i went to the dermatologist. He gave me 3 facial antibiotics, He gave some ret10, Benzoid, and .01% tazorac cream. Works perfectly.
Question: Best Makeup for my face? I can't seem to find the right makeup routine that doesn't take forever to put on, that actually covers, yet looks very natural like I don't have makeup on. Here's the skin issues- gets shiny through the day, but can also be flaky and dry in places at times, have some pimples, but have even more redish marks left from pimples, dark under the eyes, red on chin, cheeks, and nose. I wish I didn't need any makeup at all, but I won't go out of the house without covering everything.
I don't want to use things that I have to order online or anything, and theres not a sephora or anything near. I just want to stick with not-too-expensive products I can get from somewhere like Target or a drug store.
My skin is more yellow-ish, so a lot of makeups don't seem to match my skin.
I just switched from ProActive to Clean & Clear's Advantage Acne Kit to try to clear up the pimples. My biggest things to cover are the leftover red marks from old pimples and the redness.
Answer: Mineral cover-up, I forgot who it is by but you can get it at meijers or walmart, it makes your face glow =D...
Question: Help! What is a good skincare system for a really really fair person with sensitive, blotchy skin? Alright, I am a very very fair person, with kindof peachy/milky skin that is an uneven color on my face. Overall, I', oily but can also get dry and irritated fast. I experience alot of redness and have terrible discoloration under my eyes.
My main problem right now is that I'm really broken out! It's not acne all over my face, but rather four or so big spots (zits/pimples) that when I touch them at all seem to turn into infected sores.
I need to know what type of skincare system might be good for me. I used Proactive in the past and it was not a match. I also have used a ZENO on my pimples, but it is too harsh for my delicate skin and left it red and burny.
Does anyone know what's right for me!?! I just want my soft, naturally healthy skin back!
I'd like reccomendations of complete skincare systems--wash, mask, spot treatment, so on--not just a single product. Also, if you know of a makeup I should be using or NOT using, let me know.
Please help!!!
Answer: You sound like you have really sensitive skin. I'd recommend the brand that I use: Miessence. The entire skincare range is Certified Organic so therefore contains no harmful chemicals (which I'm guessing is what's reacting with your skin).
The products within that range you need to be using are the following:
Cleanser: Soothing Cleanser (for sensitive skin)
Exfoliant: Gentle Exfoliant (for sensitive skin)
Mask: Soothing Mask (for sensitive skin)
Treatment: Purifying Blemish Gel
Conditioner (Toner): Soothing Conditioner (for sensitive skin)
Moisturiser: Soothing Moisturiser (for sensitive skin)
As for make-up, they have a complete range also and that too is organic with no harsh or harmful chemicals.
I've listed the website where I buy mine in the 'Source' section. They deliver worldwide (I've had them delivered for myself in Australia and the States).
I hope this helps,
Question: whats the solution? i want your opinion and also unbiased suggestions plz...
my hubby drops his colleague everyday....she is a very proactive gal and gets along well with my hubby.I am informed most of the times n once in a while i get to be picked up if our timings match up....but it bothers me....i kinda am feeling very angry n i feel like asxking my hubby not to go with her....but i know one can't control others....but this is bothering me.....
so funny i am a very social crature n i have tons of frnds who r guys....my hubby is kool with it...
plz help...
may be i am very jealous....but the thing is ..is it ok for people who work in the same place to go together everyday.....i am angry...
he knows that i don't like it....but now its like an obligation n he wants to keep it very professional....n he says i am making him very uncomfortable by feeling j...
but i kinda don't like that gal anymore....i was ok in the beginning but not any more...she annoys me literally....
Answer: You are jealous and it is only natural. He is your husband after all, and why should he pay attention to this girl when he already has you, right?
Go with your instincts, if you see nothing wrong in that, don't say anything to hurt anyone.
Otherwise, tell your husband that you are not comfortable with the whole thing.
Question: Foundation??? I have had really bad acne for years and am a teen so i used to cover up my acne w/heavy foundation.but my skin has gotten a lot better since i started using proactive(its the best) but i still cake on my foundation.is there a light foundation that will match my skin tone well, stay on all day,and even out my skin?
Answer: Mineral makeup is best, it's very natural, has awesome wear-ability, is non-cosmogenic, and is oil free, but please think twice before using Bare Minerals (aka Bare Escentuals) OR Sheer Cover! These products contain bismuth which is NOT a healthy mineral and NOT at all recommended for sensitive skin! It resembles arsenic!!! I used this makeup not knowing this fact and it caused me a very bad allergic reaction including intense itch, large blotchy patches of redness, and break outs! After that i looked into LAMinerals but didn't go with them since they put silk powder (killing the animals that make the silk) and other weird ingredients like magnesium, and calcium into their makeup... Common sense told me the more ingredients, the higher the risk of blocked pores, break outs, and allergic reactions...
I then found this makeup and have been using it for 2 years now! It's wonderful! They have 17 foundation colors (way more then the competitors!) and 5 different finishing powders, choose the one for you skin type! Plus they have over 45 eye shadows! It really works well! Plus they are also MUCH cheaper then the 'big' name companies, and they're cruelty free and totally VEGAN (animal by-product free)!
They offer free shipping to the Continental US!

Question: Do girls like emotional, creative guys? I'm not like dependent or anything, I like to do alot of things, and I LOVE challenges. I'm a tough guy and not much scares me. But I get extremely emotional about anything that I think about. I'm probably one of the most emotional guys that I know, at least as far as "deep emotion" goes.
I'm really attracted to girls who are outgoing, fun, and don't take things too seriously. I think I get along better with girls who really like creative things (music, writing, film...), but are more practical themselves. Do girls who are like this ever like guys like me? What kinds of girls do?
I know I must seem stupid not knowing this from experience, but I'm shy around girls, and I don't show my emotional side very often. A lot of girls flirt with me, but with most of them, we just wouldn't be a very good match. Now I'm trying to be more outgoing and proactive about this. It's flirting time :D
Thanks for reading this! I appreciate the advice :)
Answer: bob, being an emotional caring guy is amazing. Not just women like people who are emotional and creative but the world also sees a side of you that most men don't have. This is a very endearing quality; and music, movies, and writing are a great way to find out what interests you have with other people. Bring up your favorite movies, or music, and then youre allowed to tell people you're good at stuff, like creating art!
Question: Our STORY of FRIENDSHIP? Okay I met this really cool girl in 8th grade. we became really good friends. everyday she would critique my fashion and say stuff like "you don't match..." That would piss me off. then she had the nerve to give me proactive. i took that offensively. everytime i got in a fight with someone i was always wrong to her and she would tell me to look at it from another perspective. Freshmen year came i started ditching her to hang with some other kids. she got mad. she holds that against me till now. Then one day i slept with this guy she liked. I know this is the lamest excuse ever but i was drunk. yeah i told her. she cried. i apologized to her. she told me it was okay. I was grounded for nine months which sucked. i got into a fight with one of my other close friends over the guy i slept with. yeah we hate each other forever. so yeah on the first day of school i saw my best friend with the girl i fought. i was pissed and i ditched her. any advice?
Answer: Well you have to remember what you left behind.. your friendship and stuff. It was probably special. Maybe you should try explaining the whole thing to her and letting her know how you feel and all that stuff...
Then all you can do is wait. Things also change when as we grow up so maybe this is one friendship that was there only for a season and not for a lifetime.
Question: I have a serious skin problem. care to help a girl out? Ever since i started high school i started breaking out. i had really bad pimples on my forehead and freckle like pimples next to my nose under my eye. I have tried many products but they all failed. Whenever i lose a pimple or two i would get even more. I also had drying and peeling so i stopped with products. Then my mom got me this Avon clearskin professional kit which is said to work like proactive. All it did was cause serious drying around the nose area and it would start flaking ALL THE TIME. I have small pimples all over my face and to make things worst my eyes dont even match! do you know why? because you know how your eyelids are tucked? yea um my right eye felt dry, flaked, and doesnt match the other cuz it looks wrinkled and swolen so yea....
AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH! PLEASE HELP A GIRL OUT HERE! I AM SO HIDEOUS!!!
well idk if you would call it serious but it is serious to a teen like me okay
Answer: First of all,it is important for you to know what is your skin type in order for you to know what skincare products that work for your face. However, based on your skin condition,I would say that you have sensitive and dry skin. For this,it is really important for you to get skincare products that works gentle on your skin and yet could improve your skin moisture balance and retention. It is important for you to get a skincare regime which consists of cleanser, toner and moisturizer since these 3 steps will help you to improve your skin resistance against breakouts in the future.
I would suggest you to try Clinique 3 Steps Skincare Regime since it works for all skin types and works great for sensitive skin.Clinique's Moisturizer really works best for dry skin so you should try it.Get a skin analysis at their outlets and they will prescribed you skincare products that suits your skin type. You could also try Dermalogica products or Murad products since these products also targets blemishes and works gentle on sensitive skin.About your dry skin.always remember to apply moisturizer twice a day and apply sunblock whenever you go outdoors.Start to consume more fruits and water from now since it will improve your skin complexion from the inside.
P/s:However,I would suggest you to try Clinique products since it really works for your skin type right now.You could also seek help from a dermatologist if you want since your derm could improve your skin condition too.Hope I helped(:
Question: My long time friend is addicted to drama and texting. Help!? I have know this gal for 12 years. We met when we both ended terrible romantic relationships and were ready to have some real fun. She is quite possibly the most easy going person I have ever met. Being that easy going I have found recently has it's draw backs. Here's what's happening:
She avoids conflict like the plague.
She doesn't seem to understand that poor decision making makes for poor results (i.e. avoiding or not being proactive).
She complains about the same stuff over and over but does nothing about it (behavior does not match what she says). At what point should I go "If you don't want to do anything about it, why complain?"
The poor consequences in her opinion are "ways to appreciate the good things." This is true for things that are out of your control (car accident, death of a loved one) but why put yourself through unneccessary drama to appreciate the good stuff? Why not appreciate the good things by making better decsions so there is no drama in the first place?
I am trying to do my best in understanding her behavior as her father was a raging alcoholic (like mine) so the decision making abilities aren't exactly all there. I hate to quote a Dr. Phil-ism but "How's that working for you?" If the desired results aren't achieved then you need to change the behavior/get help to make better decisions. Should I just wait along the sidelines, talk to her about it or make it a point to make better friends and hopefully she gets the hint that I can't be around her drama? I am also trying to not be passive agressive either.
So the texting, If we go out lately, she is so consumed with being "in the mix" that she will look down in the middle of a conversation and start texting. She will text while working out (even on the treadmill/machines) and even in the dark while watching a movie. I think her cell phone has it's own blood supply. I am the point where I just don't want to hang out with her as much and she is now spending time with her other friends who are super drama queens (I know them and had to break off the friendships as it was too draining).
Answer: You answered your own question. If you have told her to stop inflicting her own pain and drama on herself and she keeps doing it - run away!
Some people (hmmm - Daddy was an alcoholic ...) are self-destructive and will not change. They will hurt themselves and anyone who loves them. If you can help her see it, great - you can maybe help her be a better person, but if she will only wallow in the misery - she'll just bring you down to that level with her unless you escape.
As for the texting addiction (hmm - addictive behavior ... ) you could point out that when you are with her you would like her attention and to constantly interrupt your time together so she can have sideline convos with others is rude. No one might have ever explained that to her. If she keeps doing it anyway, then you know she just doesn't care and whoever is interrupting your time with her is more important to her than you are. Time to go.
