Agreement
A complete understanding between both sides. You can agree one issue or many. If you reach an agreement with the other side on all issues, you can ask the judge for a hearing to put your agreement on the record.
Question: Agreement? What is an agreement? What are some different types of agreements that can be made? What are some major agreements that a person can make?
Answer: sadsdasdads
Question: What should I write on a sublet agreement? I got a lease with only my name and have been renting one room in my apt for a roommmate without any written agreement.
I've had no problem with that but the roommate happened to move out so now I'm looking for a new one and found the right person but the person wants to have a written agreement.
In a sublet agreement, what should I write or include? I can't get a landlord's signature but if the agreement doesn't have a landlord's signature, won't it be able to work?
If there's anyone who got through similer situation or made similer agreement, please tell me tips of what did you do at the time.
Thank you very much in advance.
Answer: Do not try to make a sublet agreement on your own...use one of the many good (and free!) ones available on the web.
The sublet agreement is between you and the subtenant, and has nothing to do with the landlord (unless his approval is required for the sublease).
Question: What agreement extended the 49th parallel as a boundary? What was the agreement called? it was between the US forces and British forces back in 1818.
Answer: Actually there were two treaties that defined it as such in 1818.
The answer to your question is the Rush-Bagot Agreement of 1818
The Treaty of 1818 also did the same thing, although it did not deal with the demilitarization of the Great Lakes like the Rush-Bagot Agreement did.
Question: How do you draft an agreement that involves a software development work on Open Source? I'm drafting an agreement with a client that wanted us to develop a software on top of a Open Source software. Meaning, we will develop new modules on the existing open source software.
How would the IP Rights clause in the agreement sounds like?
Answer: It all depends on the Open Source Licenses that comes with the Open Source Software. Usually the Licesnse excludes the inclusion of any proprietary modifications or proprietary additions to the software. If your client requires that his software is proprietary, you're outta luck. No way to get around it, sorry. Read the License carefully... if you try to build a proprietary license on top of it, you may be open for copyright violation litigation and shunned by the open source community as a pirate :-). If the client agrees to let his software go out under the same license, you are in business, but that means the clients software is Open Source too.
If that is the case, all you have to do is include the Open Source license with the software and your in business... no other agreement needed.
Question: Marital Settlement Agreement? How can I specify that all assets acquired after agreement shall not be divided? My husband and I are separating, not getting divorced (at least not now). I would like to have a contract stating that we have decided to separate, and that any and all money and assets acquired, after our decision to separate, shall remain solely of the party that acquired the money or assets. Would this be a marital settlement agreement? Do I need to add a specific clause? Or would it be another type of agreement? Thank you.
Answer: If you want to protect yourself, don't make your assets available to him, however if you feel this way, just get out. You don't trust him obviously, so get out.
To answer your question, you need a lawyer in your state.

Question: What legal agreement do I need to create? I need to create a legal agreement between our business and a client. We have an automated system which sends out postcards if you click a button. Both the client and our business has access to this automated system. Since there isn't a way to block the client from triggering this system, we want to create an agreement which says that the client is responsible for the postage incurred if they trigger the postcards to be sent. Can someone tell me what type of legal agreement I need to create to protect our company from this expense?
Answer: Does your automated system tells you who the person is clicking on this button? If not, how can you prove that this client clicked on the button. Then whatever agreement you create won't do anything for you. You can go to Office Depot, they have various business forms / agreements, there might be one to help you.
Question: What is a competitive hiring agreement and do is there any way around them? Basically I work for a Cingular Wireless Agent and I want to move into the corporate stores, but I can't because of this competitive hiring agreement. What is it? Are there any loopholes to it? Can I get the terms of the competitive hiring agreement that is holding me back from getting the corporate position?
Answer: If you are going to work in Cingulars stores there should be no problem. If you were to go work for SunCom there would be a big problem. I would sit down with someone from Human Resources and have them tell you exactly why they dont wont to move you.

Question: How do I renew the rental agreement for a condo? Hi there,
How are you?
I have a quick question regarding RE-NEWING the rental agreement for a Condo. I have a current rental agreement with the owner of my suite for a year, and time is almost up.
For the people who have re-newed their rental agreement with the owner for a condo, do I need to prepare the same documents (i.e. pay stub, employment letter, credit check) that I have done when I first signed the agreement, or is it going to be simpler this time, since I am basically renewing the rental agreement? Could someone please let me know what I need to prepare when re-newing?
Please let me know.
Thanks!
Cheers!
Answer: This is what I've used in the past......
"This lease shall renew for an additional _____ (months/years) under the same terms and conditions as the original lease, dated ___________ by and between _________________ (Landlord) and ______________ (Tenant)."
Question: What do i do when lease agreement is coming to end in Indiana? I am new to the rental game. I am approaching the end of the year lease agreement that my renter and myself have. If i no longer would like for this property to be rented is there something i should know. Such as, how much notice do i give the renter? Does it have to be in writing? From what i have read it looks like, if the lease agreement is up that there is nothing i need to really do. Please help.
I am the property owner.
Answer: If you haven't renewed a lease with the tennant then you can ask them to move out. You should give them 30 days notice though.
Question: How can I terminate a contract agreement with a builder, without legal actions against me? We sign a contract agreement to buy a house and now we find other property, at a lower price and more space. We want to terminate the first agreement. We don't want them to take any actions against us.
What can we do to avoid a sue and (maybe) recover the downpayment money?
Answer: Read your contract. It should list any contingencies, if there are any. Most contracts will provide for loss of any deposit paid if you fail to follow through with the agreement. The contract may also provide for further legal redress if either party fails to follow through with the agreement.
You have signed a binding legal agreement. If you break the agreement it WILL cost you something. There's virtually no way out of that! Without reading the contract it's not possible to say what your penalty might be.
Consult with a local real estate attorney for advice on this, NOT a real estate agent. Real estate agents cannot give legal advice any more than anyone in this forum can.
Question: What is a collaborative agreement between a nurse practitioner and a doctor? Hi, I was just wondering because I know in my state (NC) an NP can not practice on their own but they must have a collaborative agreement with a doctor. So my question is what does that in-tell? Do you have to have a doctor present in the actual office or can you own your practice and have the doctor available by phone at all times? I was just wondering and Thanks in advance for any help you have to offer!
Answer: You need to have a doctors permission.
A doctor needs to be present in most cases or at least a PA.
in some cases having just nurses at a clinic for a time might be okay, but you are supposed to have an M.D. present.
so owning your own clinic wouldn't really be practical.
/house.
Question: What is my girlfriend entitled to after signing a rental agreement then becomming common law after a year? I made my girlfriend sign a rental agreement for the first year we were living together. After the year we became common law marriage. She signed a cohabitation agreement stating that she was entitled to only what she contributed to the house. The agreement however came into effect at that one year point. Now that she is leaving she would like her contribution to half of the mortgage. Is she only entitled to what she contributed after that one year (when we were common law) or does she get her half from when she rented as well?
Answer: With the agreement she is entitled to whatever she has contributed to the household from the moment you began living together including when she "rented". Be careful though because if she gets a really good lawyer she could potentially take you for a whole lot more than you agreed to on paper.
Next time don't do an agreement and keep everything in your name alone. With common law you get to keep everything that is in your name alone whether or not it was purchased before or during the relationship (it's hard to prove it wasn't a gift if there is no paperwork with her name on it) and without an agreement she can't prove the money she was contributing to the household was under the assumption she would be getting it back at the dissolution of the relationship.
Good Luck
Question: How much does a temporary child support agreement have when a judge is making a custody decision? My husband has temporary custody our our children. I signed the agreement a few months ago and now want 50/50 custody? Will the judge look at the other agreement and take it into account if we go to court?
Answer: You will have to get a lawyer, and start over again basically. The judge will look at everything, and take them into consideration, but in the end, what is best for the children is what he will base his decision on!
Question: What is the validity period of sale agreement for a flat? I bought a flat almost 3 years ago (2 more months is there to complete 3 years). Still my builder has not completed the work and the registration of my flat is not done. I heard the agreement is valid for 3 years only.
Is this agreement validity period true?
Answer: yes generally 3 years from the last payment made on the agreement.
What is the stage of the building? Is it progressing at least in slow degrees? Are you making stage payments as agreed promptly?
only with these details the question can be answered properly!
Question: What kind of plea agreement should someone expect for class 2 felony burglary? My fiance was arrested for stealing and is being charged with burglary, a class 2 felony. He has no priors and returned all of the items he stole. He has been very cooperative. This is taking place in Illinois. Anyone been through the system to know what he should expect as a sentence? He has waived his preliminary hearing and is planning to accept a plea agreement. What should he expect to get?
Answer: I would look at the lower third of the max.
Question: What about my fiance had a legal separation agreement with his ex? I know my fiance just had a legal separation agreement with his ex. So I asked him about it and he show me his legal dissolution agreement with her( his ex). I have no idea about that dissolution document and can we marry? We're engaged.
Answer: You can not marry until he is officially divorced. A separation agreement holds no bearing ending his marriage. I would ask to see an official document from the court system where you live that states he is divorced.
Question: What effect will Everything Everywhere have on the agreement between Three and T-mobile? Three and T-mobile have an agreement to share basestations, with orange and T-mobile merging theirs, what is going to happen to the original agreement?
Also, 3 users roam on the Orange 2G network.
Will 3 users be able to (eventually) roam on the Everything Everywhere network?

Question: What to do if ex wants to type agreement and not get temporary orders before divorce? I am currently in a divorce proceeding but my soon to be ex-husbands wants to type up an agreement and both of us sign. The agreement would outline our visitation with our son. He rather do this then get temporary orders through the family courts. I don't really feel comfortable signing anything and was wondering if this paper that's not signed by a judge would even mean anything or hold any weight in court?
Answer: do not sign anything your ex wants you to sign without a judge.
