Question: How do I become a Private Investigator in Massachusetts? and what skills should I have? I know how to get court records, find old friends and relatives and research for family trees. I know I will need to experience with cameras
Answer: Not too sure but I would imagine there are courses you can take to help further you're skills. Also contact a P.I. company and try to talk to them about what the job entails, I'm sure computer skills are extremely valuable to locate someone. I have talked to a couple of P.I."s and every time I they them they are conducting surveillance on someone so being handy with a camera could help some. Good luck.

He is working for his dad and earning cash.
His income is not being reported to IRS.
We are getting divorce and he said he don't have job
and not earning any money so he can get away without
paying spousal and child support.
I know he is working. I have address and phone
number where he works. I want to prove in court that
he is working, so I get support that we deserve.
i don't have job and i'm taking care of my daughter who is 16 months old.
i'm not much cared about spousal support, but i must get child support for my daughter.
anyone know good private investigator in SC? if i hire private Investigator, can i use his reports to prove in court? Do courts accepts those results?
how do i find good Investigator? is there any site where i can find good and trusted Investigator?
Any suggestions on what I should do? any help is greatly appreciated.
God bless you
thanks
Answer: First off, you will child support regardless, they will award it even if he claims to be unemployed. I would let the court know he is working for his father, they can go to jail for hiding his income. Don't waste money on a PI, they can't prove anything the court would use anyway.

thanks in advance :)
Answer: Levels of expertise & probably differences in the environment where the work is performed as well as the perspective of the work focus.
I also believe there could be differences involving the organization you are working for - how the employer defines the roles and duties thereof.
Question: Why is Probate Law (not) standardized throughout these United States of America? I have researched this question for three years and can find no logical reason for allowing every county!, in every state!, of our country to run their Probate Courts like individual Feifdoms!, as if every county were a law unto itself? (allowing no appeal to a higher authority beyond the probate judge who makes the ruling)!
And allowing (acting judges) who are no more than probate attournies!, to make life ruining decisions based quite frequently on hearsay!, and uninvestigated allegations!, submitted to the court as truths, when they are nothing of the kind?
Federal Law makes clear that a court investigator will investigate all disputed allegations!, however this seldom happens, as the courts are so backed up with cases that there is little manpower available to investigate properly!
So court investigators meerly record allegations and outright lies into their reports!, without looking into the truthfulness of said facts!
And this is what the judges ruling is based on!
my question concerns the civil rights violations consistently overlooked by every county Probate court in the country!
Making life ruining desicions based on outright lies that are excepted as truthes by
County Probate Judges without even the bare minimum of investigation into the veracity of sworn affidavitts to the court by family members who's single interest in thier parents is the preservation of thier inheritance! of which cannot be allowed to dissipate at the hands of them who worked all thier lives to earn said monies, in order to enjoy the last years of life to the utmost!!
Could someone address that issue? could someone tell me why it is that if the probate court refuses to aknowledge fully investigated and verified facts that would overturn rulings of mental incapacity and reduced cognative ability, whereby ending Probate control over the dispersal of conservatee's finances!, Then those facts are denied! and are never allowed into the case files! just by ignoring them
Answer: Our system of Government was set up as a Republic. they were well afraid of too strong of Federal Government and sit the nation up as individual states and the Federal Government to only have that power that was given it,
Basicly each state was to have the right and ability to be self governing.
Well that went to >>>> in a handbasket before too long and that was one of the main issues of the civil war, with the south supporting state rights and the union supporting a much stronger and powerful federal government.
So now we have federal income tax ( which is actually unconstitutional) but who listens to me. And a Federal Army, not merley each state supply troops for a Federal defense.
But some issues like capital punishment, murder laws, theft laws, and of course Probate laws, have been left alone for now, since I guess there is not enouigh money in them for the feds to want to be invovled.
Question: Did investigator do his job???? When someone breaks into your home and steals...when they go to court should you be notified of the court date?
I just found out togay that the case was resolved in April..5months ago. The investigator called me back and said he just found out today. I left a message once a week on his voice mail. Some of the items stolen belonged to my ggrandmother. Last Feb. he said he would try to get the man to tell him where the items were.. The man got 3 years
probation and has to pay restitution. His time was served while waiting to go to court. His probation officer has not seen him yet. She told me today she had left many messages for the investigator to give her contact info to find me. How should I handle this?
Answer: I am a criminal invesigator. Investigators uncover evidence of a criminal act, establish probable cause that a crime has occurred, and files the investigative findings with the appropriate State Attorney for prosecution. It is not the responsibility of the investigator to locate and return stolen merchandise or personal affects. In many cases these items are unrecoverable, having been fenced, spent, or otherwise discarded. Once a case is filed the investigator is off to investigate the next case...investigators are in short supply, and as much as we would like to handle one person's issues, we are generally swamped with work, and each case deserves attention. Once the case is filed the investigator's role is done unless called into court to testify or if the attorney requires additional investigative support. The investigator does not know when cases are coming to trial or have any direct impact on the judge's rulings. If the judge did not order the defendant to return articles, you would have to pursue compensatory relief through civil litigation to recover the items or fair market value thereof. Contact your attorney regarding this. But please do not confuse the investigator with a superhero who bags up the bad guy and returns all of the swag to the rightful owner. As nice as this would be thats not the reality we live in. Hope this helps.
Question: Too late to change my statement to an investigator? Hope I can get some good advice for this. I am involved in a sexual harassment case (not against me, just as a witness) and I already gave my statement to our company's investigator. The woman filing the suit was fired, probably wrongfully but who knows, and is retaliating against them. I was included because of a statement i told her about something I heard other employees saying that weren't even about her (hope that makes sense). They were only joking, but still. My manager told me to lie to the investigator to distance myself from the case. So sadly I did. He made it sound like my job was at stake if I told the truth like I wanted to. He read my truthful answers and told me to take a day to think about it, change them, and he hoped I would do the right thing. Although in my head the right thing was to tell the truth, which I didn't do to the investigator.
I do not know if this case is going to court yet, but I want to change my statement. I don't want to risk going to jail for perjury if it does. So after the long explanation, is it too late to change my statement even though it hasn't gone to court yet? Should I get a lawyer and take action against my boss for making me lie? Will I risk being fired for changing my statement after they found out I lied?
Hopefully a lawyer can answer my questions, or someone with experience. Thank you in advance, and thanks for reading my long question. :)
Answer: I wouldn't give your problem to a monkey on a rock...
I wouldn't worry too much about being prosecuted for perjury. You were forced under duress to give false testimony by your boss under threat of losing your livelihood. Your boss is a creep. Is he the one who has the sexual harrassment charge filed against him? And, the woman who complained and was then fired, I'd hardly consider her taking legal action "retaliation". I'd say you definitely need to get a lawyer to protect your interests in this. Sounds to me like it's pretty clear that if you don't play ball their way, you'll lose your job. How far up the corporate ladder are these people dirty? Is it just the manager? Will they all cover one another's butts? I think you should fess up to the investigator and I think you should have your own attorney when you do so. If you're just a peripheral witness what made them drag you into this sh*tstorm? I guess if you had it to do all over again, maybe you should have just refused to give any kind of statement, along the lines of "I don' know nuthin'"....Hindsight is always 20/20 isn't it?
I gotta say this for you....You at least have a conscience about this. Lots of people wouldn't give lying in this situation a second thought. You know you lied and you feel bad and apparently have the courage to try to do something to rectify the situation. But, I feel sorry for you because it means you could lose your job. The people in your company who are condoning sexual harrassment and forcing people to lie to cover it up need to be eliminated. They are a cancer. They are expensive and dangerous to have around in a business setting.
Question: Should I hire a private investigator? My husband walked out on our family. I have 5,3, and 1 month old children. He is living with another woman (He is 30 she is 45!). I had to take him to court to get a court order just to get money from him for the children (I am a stay at home mom). I tried to call and talk to his parents about what is going on and his mother said that she doesn't believe me and she thinks I am mentally challenged.
So now I want to hire a investigator to get video of him coming and going from her house to help me in court, and I also want to send a copy to his parents because I don't appreciate them telling me I am mentally challenged.
So do you think I should hire the investigator, or not even waste my time/energy because I know the truth.
Answer: You don't need a PI.
Serve him with the papers for abandonment and irreconcilable differences. Then work on child support and alimony. Oh.....and don't be a stupid turd and take him back when he begs to come home because 'he made a mistake'. Of course he made a mistake. It'll be in $$$ form. That's why he'll insist on coming back.
Do the deed and be done with it. Show the old MIL just how 'mentally challenged' you are.
Good luck and don't be stupid. get what's coming to you.
Question: Court trial where an officer testifys? I have to write a LARGE paper about a current or past court trial where an investigator or an officer testified. Can anyone refer me to a specific case that I can write about where an officer testifies? I want to write about a case that is interesting but I'm having trouble finding something I'm interested in. Any ideas?
Answer: Go no further than the OJ Simpson trial - it's well known and the Officers involved are one of the reasons he got off scott free.
Question: Private Investigator's and the police? As most private investigator's are ex-policemen who often boast of thier experience with the former corrupt regional crime squad's of the UK,how open is the private security industry racket open to corrupt ex-copper's (and serving one's) who quite often are little more than crooks themselve's?I can speak of an ex-copper recently convicted for theft of £15,000 from client's whilst he was working as a court processor/bailiff,he was ex regional drug's copper pensioned off early for basically been a crook, anyone know of any others and what laws are there to monitor these characters?
Answer: "203" is an idiot, Their are laws but they don't enforce them unless it a high profile case, cops are given passes on breaking laws because of their job stress, cops standing together and politicians seeing it as t6he less of two evils. corruptions is a way of life for some police, its called "a 2nd income" and it is condoned all over the world by all involved in law enforcement. and those police who don't participate in it are still guilty for allowing it to go on, so if you "203" feel safer ignoring police corruption or labeling an opinion as "ex felon" w/ an Axe to grind, than go ahead and when your time comes to live up to that belief, I hope you still are singing the "I am the only one who's right tune" then.......
Question: can i obtain information that a private investigator has obtained on me? Hi, the other day me and my husband noticed we were being followed, the guy in his blacked out BMW was'nt very good at his job and we spotted him taking pics and following us round etc... this alarmed me as for a short time years ago I was under police protection to hide from my ex and I panicked he was tracking me down and phoned the police, they told me today its actually my husband being followed by a company down south and they were hired by his old employer. My husband had an accident at work and is making a claim, he left the company as his role involved heavy lifting and he couldn't do this with his injury( although offered several times to come back doing light duties but the company refused) anyway not wanting to be on benefits my husband has re-skilled and set up his own business and currently has a maintenance contract with the several councils and companies, he does the light roles of going to the wholesalers for bits and doing light bulb changes ..nothing he said he couldn't do ... anyway I was just wondering what the private investigator had "found out" as I'm a nosey toad and wondering if I can find out, I'm sure we will find out in the end with the court case but its amused me they have gone to so much trouble when if they had asked they would have been told lol.
Answer: You wont get that info. from a private investigator unless they are served with a writ signed by a judge.
Question: got a phone call from the da and his investigator saying a phone call was enough to say i had been subpoenead? i am on probation and i have an upcoming court date to testify against my estranged husband for domestic violence. i kno his attorney is going to try to paint me in an unfavorable light, but i can't have this affect my probation. i have tried to drop charges. my husband lives is another state and i have moved on as well. we are only still married because it is finacially better for us both not to divorce yet. the da and his investigator contacted me by phone saying that was enough to suboena me? is this right
Answer: Tell them to quote you the provision of civil procedure which authorizes them to claim you can be subpoenaed over the phone. Tell them that the State Bar of the state does not think so.
Question: Could i still work at the humane society as a cruelty investigator if i had a felony but it was deferred? Im interested in going to school to become a cruelty investigator for the humane society, but i had a felony for pcs in 04. Since then i finished my probation, fines, comm. service, etc. in 07 with no other violations. So my question is would i still eligible for that position? Because i dont want to go through school then not be able to do what i want to do. Any information given would be greatly appreciated. ( By the way my felony was deferred adj. when i went to court.)
Answer: I can't answer your question and be 100% sure, but I did find out recently that I thought that that because I had something deferred adjucated almost 30 years ago that it wasn't "on my record", but didn't know that you had to go through a formal process of expunging those records by filing a document through the courts. If you haven't done that, it is sitting there for the world to see. Good luck!
Question: do i need a private investigator? my soon to be x wife has custody of my daughter an i have court comming up on 14th of may shes dating people dropping my daughter off for the weeknds over peoples houses ive never meet do i need a private investgator to photograph my wife leaving daughter over peoples houses an who all she brings in her house with my daughter or can i do the investigation myself?
Answer: Talk to your attorney before you do anything. If what you say is true, why would you be foolish enough to risk swaying the case in her favor. That is what you pay lawyers for.
Question: Can a Court legally do this? My brother is in the center of a custody case. My father is trying to take him from my mother for no apparent reason. The claim is that it's his grades but he was starting to do well at his new school. The court won't believe me and my brother because my father claims we were bribed and manipulated. And the court believes him. They never put any of the things that we said in the court investigators report! And my question is can a court just take my brother and give him to my dad, even though he doesn't want to live at his house, and not even acknowledge what we said? I think it's strange because my father keeps pornographic material at his house, he's an abusive drunk and he has had weed at his house. The court ignored all those details and my dad won the case. They're excuse was that his grades weren't good enough the previous year, but he just started at the high school and was getting good grades there when they did this. It just doesn't seem right that they would ignore these details. Can they do this legally??? He's fourteen years old and old enough to choose where he wants to live.
But there us evidence of abuse from my father. And There have been times when he has hurt us. He is not to have alcohol at all but he drinks all the time. And my brother just started getting into football, and clubs at the high school and he was finally getting involved with school.
And in the court room the judge kept looking at the clock. Like she already made up her mind before we even walked in there. And the judge has a streak of picking the fathers over the mothers. And the judge didn't really seem to like my mother's laywer.
And I have seen all the things at my fathers house for a fact; to those who agree that I'm being manipulated. Also during the investigation, He cleaned his house and acted different than he usually acts and I think he tricked the court. Before there was a cabinet full of booze and then there was nothing, before there was a pipe and weed above the sink and then there was just cook books. I've seen these things, infact the pipe fell on my head! But my fathers girl friend was the only one there and she won't tell the truth. I also have a theory that he beats her like he did my mom. And I remember all these things.
Wow... And to think I posted this to get help from you people.
And they did send him to live with my dad based on last years grades
Answer: You and your brother sadly are not parties to your parents' dispute. But your brother should make sure to discuss this with his teacher(s), counselors, coaches, school administrators, doctor, pediatrician, clergyman and, if such things exist in your jurisdiction, the court-appointed child advocate or guardian ad litem. The best thing would be for your mother to get herself a better lawyer (or any lawyer) and present evidence concerning why it would be in your brother's best interest to remain with her. Grades are only a part of the whole picture.
Question: Can A Homocide Investigator Give Up A name or personal information of an informant to anyone?..? my freind is nervouse because he gave up a name to a homicide detective of a possible suspect on a homicide case and he is nervouse that he might be brought as an informant or (SNITCH) on court or court papers and that the suspect might find out
Answer: If all he did was pass along a tip, that would probably never even find its way into a police report. If he's a witness in the sense that he observed the crime or the defendant himself confessed to him, then he might find himself a witness in court.
